This is the major attraction of the city along with the Prime Minister's office and river cruise. Transport: From KL, you can hire a taxi which will take around 30 mins to 1 hour depending on traffic. Taxi will cost around 40 RM for one way journey or you can hire by hour (35-40 RM per hour). The cheapest alternate... More

This masjid is a must-see if you're heading out to Putrajaya. It's surrounded by government buildings, parks, and water. I prayed jumu'ah there, however the place was not as full as I had hoped to see.

This mosque looks very pretty and grand scale. And is thankfully a very easy, accessible attraction. Get the train from KL Sentral station to Putrajaya, from there they have a coupon taxi counter. It cost me 11.50 Ringit to get to the mosque. Once there it is really easy to get back to the train station, there are plenty of... More

When seeing this pink masjid (mosque) you will be inspired. We read our Asr prayer here and had the delight to meet different people including the local people. I would recommend this place!

Today a man in a white car has stopped us at Putra bridge, which is right next to the mosque. After asking where we are from, he showed us police ID as asked us to show him passport and empty our pockets. He did not get out of the car. He kept asking where do we keep dollars and if... More

If you visit Kuala Lumpur, and have time you should visit Putrajaya the newly built seat of the Federal Government of Malaysia. Next to the Office of Prime minister building is the rosy colored beautifully designed and attractive Putrajaya Mosque sitting directly on the edge of a man-made lake. There could be many tourists busses making taking pictures of the... More

Here government buildings are here. The city is very beautiful, less crowded, good for photographers. I saw this city in 2004. The government officials buildings are also here. This city is close to Kualalumpur airport (KLIA).

Foreign visitor are allowed to enter the mosque before 6PM but females are required to dress moderately according to... More

We decided to swing into the Putrajaya on a 9 Hour Stopover and the Mosque was a pleasant surprise. We strolled throughout the Mosque, admiring the stunning building before us - the views across the river and up to the palace were excellent and the colours of the Mosque itself were incredible The area on the whole was very nice...
