This was one of my favourite mosques to visit in Malaysia. It was only recently built (around 1997, I believe) so there is not much history in it, though the history of Putrajaya itself is quite interesting. Think it's better to visit the mosque in the morning to see the beautiful pink color. We visited the place in the evening but the pink mosque was glowing and you could still see the superb color and the magnificent architecture. It was really beautiful

Pretty much what it says on the tin really. Big pink mosque . Staff were ace with the little one and I'm sure those who appreciate quality architecture can appreciate on a whole different level. Bottom line though is this, Putrajaya isn't exactly an all action town. The fact that this is currently rated as number one on here says... More

This is the no 1 item on my to-try list for Putrajaya and it was great! We enjoyed every minute of being inside and out even though we had to wear a robe under the hot sun. It was well worth it. Our young son, surprisingly, thought it was highlight of the day, compared to the cruise and the skyride.... More
