Went here with my friend to get away from the city life and boy were we happy we did. The town of putrajaya is itself worth a visit. Its so green and beautifully maintained with stunning views. I think that Putrajaya is a very interesting place. And this mosque at the central plaza adds to the spice of it. Very beautiful mosque and you definitely feel the holiness. Not much tourists reach this place unless on a tour bus package so it really is more quite and peaceful than the mosques in central KL.

I took the 2hour sightseeing bus tour around Putrajaya and the Mosque was the only place we actually could enter (non-muslims can center a few meters into the mosque and the rest is gated for worshippers only). Incredibly beautiful structure and we had to wear these Harry Potter/Graduation-like coats to walk around inside. Heres a blog link for pictures/review of... More

I usually went here for Ied Fitri or Ied Adha prayers only, but last week i went here again after Hot Air Baloon Festival held near by the area. First time spending time in this mosque on the evening, you can still see the Putrajaya bridge from here. They have a robe counter where you have to borrow one if... More

A relatively new admin city for Malaysia which was build some years ago to move all the government departments of of KL city centre. Wide boulevards and nice buildings and a stunning mosque and palace but nothing else apart form the man made lake. Worth a visit.

A place worth to be seen, built on an artificial lake showing combination of Islamic blend in modern infrastructures and tradition. Weather is tropical. Place worth to be seen once

Keep in mind that for non-Muslims, you can't go inside between 12.00 and 14.00 (we didn't know that).
