Speechless. Amazingly beautiful mosque. Situated by the river with a magnificent view of the bridge. The design of the mosque is beautiful. Remember to dress appropriately.

Masjid Putra (The Pink Mosque) is located at Dataran Putra. From KL Sentral take the KLIA Transit train to Putrajaya Sentral, it costs RM 9.5. The train is comfortable and fast. The journey takes about 30 minutes. When you arrive at Putrajaya Sentral, go downstairs and take bus L01/L08. It's only RM 0,5. Very cheap! You need to walk a... More

The architecture of the Mosque is impressive, especially the dome and its windows, which can be appreciated from Putra Square. However, for a better overview of the Mosque itself, it is best viewed from the far end of Putra Bridge (which, by the way, appears a bit artificial during the day; it is much more beautiful at night judging by... Putrajaya is one of the most well planned place, i have ever come across. I was told by my guide, that is the place from where the government runs the whole city, and the mosque was one of the places to look for. Due to time shortage, we could not explore the mosque totally, but it is definetly one of... More

Very clean environment... not a very great impact for me though. Overall it's a fine place to learn other cultures and study the architecture of the mosque.

I've been here during my PLKN days. My Muslim friends were having a friday prayer so we came along. It was a beautiful mosque to look at and it was huge. I planned on getting inside but it'll be rude for me to enter while the muslims were praying. So, i just gaze upon its beauty from the outside (the... More

This is the first mosque I've seen inside and I might say, it is surprisingly beautiful. This is a must-stop if you are visiting Putrajaya. Frankly speaking, tourist in KL should see Putrajaya because it houses the central government and its offices. This is one way to explore Malaysia's culture. This mosque showcases Malaysia's major religion...Islam. Even if one is... More
