Did this as part of a half day tour of Putrajaya. Found the experience rewarding as I have never been inside a mosque before. So if your a westerner and wonder what's inside a mosque here's your chance at a very modern and spectacular one! Special robes - at no cost - are provided for those that do not meet... More

Very impressive building, and non-Muslims can get a free guide through the building with an explanation of the Muslim faith, which was also interesting.

It is the highlight of Putrajaya and the area around it is beautiful and worth checking out. It's a tourist hotspot so expect a crowd. There are convenient tours available from the information counter at Putrajaya sentral station which you can reach via Kia transit from KL Sentral.

I as one of the fortunate ones to have seen this city of Putrajaya before the first buildings were putnup! then only muddy laterite roads were the access. how the city has transformed! This mosque in Putra jaya in a brand new locality 25km outside KL is a heavenly beauty. Sprawling, Pink in colur and awesome architecture. The area around this mosque is also beautifully layed out. A must see when visiting KL, Malaysia. Very serene. A beautiful lake nearby. Great flora and fauna nearby.
