his place is magnificent. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Klang Valley. It's free to visit, you must wear a robe (provided) for non_muslim and take your shoes off. The people were very very friendly and when we got inside the mosque a helpful chap told us all about the engineering, history, construction, and materials which floated my geek... More

It is a modern and huge mosque intended to Cater for the Prime Minister and his staff to offer friday prayers, may be. Surprisingly the mosque was not air-conditioned where as many other smaller mosques were so. It is called a floating mosque but actually it is not.

Amidst the vast landscape stands the Putrajaya Mosque next to the Prime Ministers Office. Its Pink dome is visible from far. The tall minaret inside the mosque is imposing. The has a capacity of 15000. Outside the mosque is a large square with flagpoles. It has ample parking facility. Its a good place for photography.
