Stunning restoration project. Beautiful peice of local history preserved. The tour guide did seem to go on and on and on, repeating what we were going to see to the point we left before we saw upstairs. Will book a room here for a few nights and experience the house in peace.

The narration could have been more interesting. The visitors are left standing there to be told by a respectful Chinese Lady at a very boring way. No mention of what is worth capturing in terms of photos etc. The narration could be replaced by a video.

This Historic House of Cheong Fatt Tze, painted blue with a lovely internal courtyard and is made very interesting by the Guide who tells many tales of the owner and the time he lived in. A must see in georgetown.

Listed as one of the tourist sites but could be skipped. Not much to see, its just a house but if you dont have anything else to do and are into history, then you can stop over
