Inexpensive entrance fees which help in the upkeep of this temple complex. Take your time to climb to the top of the pagodas for great views on a clear day. Eat at the (very good and cheap) vegetarioan restaurant at the base. More

Ever wonder how grand a chinese temple can be? Just pay a visit to Kek Lok Si and i'm sure some of you will be jaw-dropping. There's quite a number of temples in Kek Lok Si, and the famous one were the gigantic statue of Kuan Yin, or Goddess of Mercy. Try the elevated lift too! Plenty of souvenirs to... More

this is a huge temple and its a must see. It was dicribed to me as Disneyland for Buddists and they werent to far from it. No rides but amazing colours and photo opportunities, the gift shops were disappointing but they usually are. They statues were amazing and the bus trip to and the walk up to the moastery was... This place starts with a fun walk upwards along stairs through a market which takes you to the entrance. Here you get greeted by a pond full of turtles. Soon you are exploring temples, gardens, a giant pagoda, and taking a tram up the bill the see even more cool things. Definitely worth a visit! Take the bus! Info can... More

It is a nice place to visit. You can see a great Guan Yin statue there and view the Penang at the top hill there. You can also make ur wish there and write it on a paper and hang on the wishes tree provided. The scene around there is nice for you to take picture as well. A must... More
