We visited in the middle of the day - you turn the corner and suddenly see this amazing clan house. There were almost no other visitors so we were able to wander around looking at the amazing carvings, pictures and displays almost undisturbed. Very impressive.

Very difficult to find. It's hidden and cannot be seen from most roads. My advise is to just ask the locals once you're in the vicinity of the area. As to the actual temple it's quite impressive. Not big by any means but extremely ornate and historical. If you're into old Chinese type architectures definitely worth a visit.

Nothing much to see there,if you get a tour guide then you can understand the history well.Admission fee is RM10. Another way to reach there is by taking CAT bus to station 14.

The place is vast. LOts of chinese gods and carving. The court yard comes with a nice stage for any performance of chinese deity's birthday celebration. Night time when the lighting is on during any event is most spectacular and mesmerizing showing the roof carving and surrounding area.

Khoo Kongsi is one of Georgetown’s most interesting attractions. Built some 650 years ago, A kongsi (clan house) is a building in which Chinese families of the same surname gather to worship their ancestors. Representing a family’s social and spiritual commitments between extended relations, ancestors and the outside community, the kongsi also acts as an important means of solidarity. These... More

Everyone will be amazed at the conservation work that has been done. It's clean, well-kept. Should pay a visit to this cool temple.

This is is a very interesting temple - one i had not visited before. It is in possibly the most gentrified part of Georgetown, which is not a bad thing!

The temple is located quite far from the city center . It is not more special than other temples, maybe a bit bigger.
