Had an enjoyable morning walks and love the many flowers and trees grown here. However found the monkeys a bit aggressive.

The gardens are beautifully located, surrounded by thickly forested hills. I was impressed from the moment we got off the bus. Particularly enjoyed Curtis Trail which is narrow and goes uphill a bit, right through the rainforest. Most of the signboards along the trail are very informative and interesting. We spent a couple of hours, walking slowly, taking pictures and... More

Had a nice jog in this renowned botanical garden established during the British colonization period. Very well designed and maintained. A good chance to witness some monkeys too.

Just an average ride around the garden beautiful scenery, but the most interesting thing is the monkeys. All I can say is make it a point to purchase same peanuts and be amazed!

I like Botanical Gardens and have been to a number all around the world. This one was average in terms of what to see and infrastructure, but the fact that it is FREE makes up for it. It's basically a manicured park with some trails. It seemed none of the display buildings were open and I'm not sure why. There... More

We were initially not sure whether to go to this attraction as there are mixed reviews but we had a wonderful time. Entrance to the park is free and you can either walk around the paths or take a small train (also free of charge). If you are feeling a bit more energetic you can take the trails off of... More

Got the number 10 bus to enterance for about 2 or 3 rm. Free entrance and a free trip around on the car train. The monkeys were a little scary when we bought an ice cream! But it was great seeing all the baby monkeys playing. Unfortunately this place looks like it has seen better days but there were sign... More

I sincerely hope this wonder stays as is and not touched for it is mother nature. Its a huge area with unique flora and fauna. It is kept clean and entrance is free! Worth the visit and a longer stay to enjoy the fresh air!

I guess the key attraction of this garden would be the monkeys - hundreds of them - who seem to rule here. It is a nice place, but quite small, and not much to see, except if you go off the tacks where there is still some parts of true rain forest. But a very relaxed place otherwise - and... More

Do not in a any circumstance take the number 10 bus to the Botanical Gardens from the Jetty; we did. It is very circuitous. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes because it goes backwards and forwards in downtown Georgetown. On the map a direct route would cover only 8.5 km. Attractive collection of plants and trees, with lots of... More
