Another "must visit" site in Penang Island. It's a great place for an evening stroll amongst the terrific local flora and fauna. It's an experience one would never forget!

This is a relaxing place to go just be careful to those monkeys because they can grab anything they like. So extra precaution is required.

An interesting garden to walk around and enjoy nature. It is clean and well kept. Best to walk around in the morning like we did as it gets quite hot during the afternoons. A must if you are into botany as there are collections of rare plant species housed in the Fern House, Palm Collection, Aroid Walkway, Orchidarium, Perdana Conservatory,... More

The garden has A very easy walkabout layout. The attractions are spread around with great and easy access, the Latin names listed prominently. The collection of flora and fauna adds character to the place. It is a easy place to take nice walks and run around with the monkeys an added attraction.

I loved this place, so lush and floral. The various species of monkeys running free was a real experience. Highly recommend for an afternoon, good for your body and soul. We walked around for a time then wanted to take the tram but the ticket price for foreigners was triple the local rate which is discrimination so we refused.

Very serene place and lot of greens, away from the hubbub of city. Relaxing and enjoying the moment in this oldest garden in Penang.

It was a good place to see the monkeys and fairly easy to keep our distance from them. Were disappointed we were unable to... More
