Feels like street stalls in a mall except for the ground floor. Toliet's don't have toilet paper so bring your own. On a positive note the very kind man and the blackberry stall put my phone on charge for me for an hour when my battery went flat with no charge which was a life saver! There are better malls... The mall is nice and cool, however a lot of the things available are the same things that you can buy on the street. They still barter in some of the shops also. A carbunkle of a landmark. Tired looking inside. Not many bargains to be had but have to say that while travelling Asia, it was nice to get a Starbucks Latte!!! An almost empty shopping mall with uninteresting architecture. It's just tall, that's all. It's important because of the bus terminal. And there are some banks like Maybank and CIMB, a Popular bookstore, Coob Cafe and Georgetown Coffee at the Komtar Walk. But that's about all. More

First of all this place is extremely run down.Most of the shopping areas seem to be abandoned.Underneath Komtar is a main bus terminal where busses leave from to travel all around Penang.If you are looking to shop I would not recommend this place but you can go across the road to Prangin mall for a good shopping experience.To be fair...
