If you want some good chapatis....there is a stall after the cross junction to Market Street selling chapatis. Love their sardine curry and mutton curry. Stall is open in the evening for dinner. After dinner, you can stroll around Queen Street or walk down Market Street to browse at the various Indian shops or savor some Indian sweets

Both Queen and King streets are worth a look and you might find interesting Indian shops to see and stroll around. You can also try some Indian hawker food here.

Visiting this place when Deepavali is on the verge. The place is full of brave colours, and the smell of incense and spices makes you forget that you are still in Malaysia, not India. There's a lot of cheap Saris and Punjabis, Indian food stalls, and other Indian culture item, which i can not tell what it is. Surrounded by... More

I have been heaps of times , but you get the feeling this place is full of hawkers. There used to stamp selling shops and these have gone away too.Looks like a place with the adage` every man for himself`....certainly women alone or in groups seem odd here.... Can this place improve, well no one is friendly here...all about selling and... More

Great place to shop for Indian food/drinks/clothes. Saris and Punjabis suits are available and are cheap. You may even bargain with them!

Offers India food that you can smell from blocks away and some interesting back alleys to check out. Local shops sell local specialties at a good price. Kinda scary walking alone after 7pm.

Little India is a great place to check out. Whether you're looking for Indian food or just want to walk around and hear the music and smell the incense and spices, little India is an adventure!

Hameediyah Nasi Kandar in Queens Street, was the best I had in Penang. They have A/C restaurant a few doors away from the original lot.

This small enclave near the bottom of Chulia Street also includes Pitt Street, as well as King Street, and many small side-streets too. If you are into your chicken tikka, tandoori meats and rendangs as well as nasi and mee goreng, this is the place to go. Great choices everywhere! We had a great meal of tandoori mutton, chicken tikka... More
