Prangin Mall is quite interesting loads of stalls and small boutiques. aslo lots of fakes.
There is a pharmacy(?Watsons) also supermarket, money changers and brilliant optician at Vision First, on ? 1st floor. Patrick Ong provides an excellent service. There is a PARKSON store.

Pragin Mall, located in the heart of bustling Georgetown, is next to the old KOMTAR (which is more a government office with an outdated shopping arcade which has seen its heydays!). It is also located within walking distance to a new shopping mall called 1st Avenue.

As a frequent visitor to Penang, I am very familiar with places to shop. There are the beaitoful shopping centres like Queensbay Mall and Guerney Plaza, but for me Prangin Mall is the best. Locals shop there and the prices are cheap. If you are upto a size 12 in dresses and upto an 8 in a shoe, this place...
