It was awesome when you visited the first 1 or 2. But became boring when you had too many. They lacked the detailed explanation and guide that would have made these places interesting.

Spent hours climbing and exploring this fascinating and truly peaceful temple. An oasis of quiet and contemplation.

Perak Cave Temple Located in Jalan Kuala Kangasar, Ipoh town, this temple is inside limestone caves. In the main worship placem there is a 15 m high statue of Buddha. The walls are decorated with cute handmade drawings. If you are in good shape and can climb 385 steps inside the cave, you will reach the top and enjoy a... More

Passed by here but visited here quite often when were young. We managed to reach a fair height of the lime stone hill & watched the surrounding Industrial area.

My kids and I visited several cave temples, mainly to see the limestone hills and caves. The limestone hills were an intriguing thing for the kids. Not every one is well maintained but generally they are ok. Some temples might be a tad smoky but that's to be expected. We were not able to climb the steps right to the... More

While not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination I did find the the Cave Temples around Ipoh interesting. Due to the lateness of the day we only visited Ling Sen Tong Temple and Nam Thean Tong Temple. Not recommended however for those with small children for any length of time or those with respiratory conditions as they... More

There are plenty of temples in and around Ipoh, all of which are as special as the other. The natural formations within the caves will leave you speechless. One cave that has stood out for me was the 'Perak Cave Temple'. This was visited by my family 32 years ago and it has remained EXACTLY the same. It his is... More

There are a lot of Cave Temples in Ipoh. If you've been to one, it's plenty enough as they are all about the same. A lot of religious people in Ipoh.
