Good experience for kids to learn about mining. The short ride train(May be too short), the nice n professional tour guide, cold weather inside cave..not bad..

I was very excited after paying for the entrance ticket. Later only realized that the train would only took me for about 80 meters into the mines. Then disembarked the train and walk to explore. I did not know what to expect, there were no guide to explain or lead the tourist. Though there were 2 staff inside the tunnel,... More

Sungai Lembing Mine is a quite a interesting attraction. The short train ride into the tunnel is a must for young boys. Just down the hill from the mines, there is a famous restaurant name Hoover which is famous for their Roast Pork. I like their tomato noodle and pork trotter too.

Do go to Sg Lembing and get into the mine for a real experience of how does it feel mining in the tunnel. No worries , we've been there twice and so far everything is safe.

This is a nice place to visit. Price reasonable. They call it el dorado of the east. Truly amazing experience. Please ask for tour guide name "Mann". Well versed in English and can explain in detail.

It's the biggest and deepest tin mine in the world but most areas are closed due to flooding and poor maintenance. Guided tour takes just below 45 minutes.

This opened our eyes to the difficulties the miners had to extract the tin ore from the earth. You get onto a small train which only takes you about 50- 75 yards, this was disappointing, I formed the opinion that we would be travelling further and deeper. The mine is in a hill side and you walk the rest of... More

The main attraction to this mine/museum is the chance to experience the real mining tunnel. It is slightly different from the Sungai Lembing Museum. This one showcase the life of mine workers and a mine structure through story. Personally I find it a bit overpriced for the information/experience I obtain. Visit if you are not on a tight budget.

This was our first trip to Sungai Lembing Town and the Sungai Lembing Tin Mine, and I have to say that both the town and Tin Mine were a wonderful experience! I never expected to be in awe of the Tin Mine! There was so much to learn from, so much of history to take in and loads of things... More

We really enjoy a visit to the old tin mine and we always bring our oversea guests here. You have the chance to take a walk into the mine, which has a tunnel system of a total length of more then 300 km (that is Kuantan to KL). It is a good place to experience a bit of histor as... More
