For a museum with no entry fee charged, it is pretty impressive and well maintained. Plenty of live marine species to look at on the ground floor and some fixed exhibits on the upper floor. Overall a good learning experience and again, its free of charge. It is just a short walk from Labuan town so there is no need... More

Since all museums here are small, you can't expect much. The efforts done here are beyond expectations. Well maybe there are not many people visiting, hence they are well maintained.

It was funny bcos most museum in labuan is small but you have to give credit to their effort. We definitely love labuan marine museum. We never see a fine collection of eel before and the aquarium are full with colorful fish and corals. Highly recommended

its free, it's by the water and there are some beautiful fish displayed. Upstairs are exhibits about fishing, a big whale skeleton, deep sea diving, various wrecks and marine ecology. All in all a pleasant hour was spent

Brought my family to visit it. Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Small but quite charming. Entrance is free. Well maintained. Mix of live and static exhibits. Touch pond right at the entrance. Recommended!

Visited this complex which also houses the Maritime Museum. The specimens were quite good with some marine lives and shipwrecks. However, it should be improved to be more educational and attractive. The museum closes at 5.00 pm. Entry is free. Activities around the centre should become tourist attractions if done consistently and publicized. Labuan offers plenty of attractions if more... More

The complex houses small yachts for school use, the aquarium, local food hall, a Japanese restaurant and government offices. The aquarium/ museum is excellent, small but well presented. Information on local "Wrecks" and good examples of the local sea life.

We visited the aquarium in the sea sport complex. There were large display cases of static displays of shells, fish, turtles, etc, which were quite well done. Good quality aquaria were interesting, with the moray eels the most notable. Worth calling in to visit, on your way around the island. A school group was there at the same time, so... More

I have a certain penchant for museum, be it maritime, wartime, landmarks or historical origins of a particular person & place; and one can easily pick my interests from the amount of landmarks that I have reviewed in the past and present. But to allow the ISSC (International Sea Sport Complex) which houses the Labuan Marine Museum a review of... More
