Visited this complex which also houses the Maritime Museum. The specimens were quite good with some marine lives and shipwrecks. However, it should be improved to be more educational and attractive. The museum closes at 5.00 pm. Entry is free. Activities around the centre should become tourist attractions if done consistently and publicized. Labuan offers plenty of attractions if more... More

The complex houses small yachts for school use, the aquarium, local food hall, a Japanese restaurant and government offices. The aquarium/ museum is excellent, small but well presented. Information on local "Wrecks" and good examples of the local sea life.

We visited the aquarium in the sea sport complex. There were large display cases of static displays of shells, fish, turtles, etc, which were quite well done. Good quality aquaria were interesting, with the moray eels the most notable. Worth calling in to visit, on your way around the island. A school group was there at the same time, so... More

I have a certain penchant for museum, be it maritime, wartime, landmarks or historical origins of a particular person & place; and one can easily pick my interests from the amount of landmarks that I have reviewed in the past and present. But to allow the ISSC (International Sea Sport Complex) which houses the Labuan Marine Museum a review of... More

Sometime, there will be an event throw. The place will be so crowded and plenty of street food, merchandise, and all of other things like, shirt, toys, funfair, begs, people singing. It is just, you need to be there on the right time.

A total waste of space and a lack of care or interest in the taking care of this symbolic tourist location in downtown Labuan. Another fine example of the authorities building structures with no care or long term plans in mind... Wasted!

I like the place, but it really needs a very good maintenance, and the management should look unto it.

I found a new Japanese restuant there and it is amazing. Price is not so cheap but it is worth the experience. Staff are friendly and the place itself is very nice and relaxing. Downside is at night there are quite a few young guys on motorbikes hanging around the complex. They can be a bit noisy but they where... More
