We had a great outing with Fendi. The kayaking through the mangrove was lovely, so quiet. Fendi took the time to explain the mangrove eco-system and was quick to point out the birds, fish and monkeys. After we had a lovely local lunch before heading out to a rockpool for a dip. Well organised, low key but very professional and... More

I had with my 14 year old son two great nature tours with Junglewalla during our holiday in Langkawi. We joined a jungle trekking and Gunung Raya walk. In both adventures we had excellent guide and we got what we were looking for: we saw many animals (two snakes, flying lizard, great hornbills...), got lot of information of plants and... More

On my recent trip to Langkawi, I decided to book the UNESCO Geo Park boat ride through my hotel (The Andaman Resort). Upon arriving at the site, the myself and the others from my resort were separated into a couple of groups (since the boats seat only about 7-9 comfortably). Upon reflection, I know that I was fortunate enough to... More

Guide Fendi was knowledgeable, humorous, adaptable to his clients - there were just four of us on a rainy weekday. A pleasant kayak trip through Sg Kubang Badak mangrove, a lovely Malaysian lunch and a short forest walk with a dip in a rock pool, easily managed by newbies! Junglewalla is a responsible/ethical tour operator, so no feeding animals or... More

The husband was initially contemplating a stay at The Datai because Irshad is the resident nature guide there. But he found Andaman's beach access to be better. so we went on a birdwatching trip with JungleWalla and we would say it's a good trip for us who are not driving around the island. Shakira brought us to different places to... More

Just ended the Unesco Geopark Cruise with Junglewalla. I have to say that Fendi, our guide for today had done his very best to explain to us about the significance of this Unesco Park, the first of its kind in South East Asia! We saw monkeys, bird life, and a snake just hanging around on a tree branch! We also... More

I'm very impressed with how the Geo park Mangrove tour was conducted. Our tour guide surprised us by being quite young but incredibly knowledgeable with the flora and fauna of the mangrove tour and then some. If I remember correctly, I think our tour guide's name is Rizal. He's welcoming and friendly from the beginning and was able to answer... More

We did several tours with Junglewalla during our visit to Langkawi. This was arranged at the resort (the Andaman) where we were staying and did not disappoint. We went on a birdwatching tour through the rice paddies and then up to the top of Gunun Raya. We saw a huge range of fabulous birds (and lots of animals/reptiles as well).... More
