We took a boat trip through the mangrove forest of Kilim River. Our excellent guide Sui Lan explained the landscape and animals so well and was very entertaining at the same time. She and our captain spotted even the smallest snakes hanging around in the trees and we had great fun to actually recognize them. The highlight for the children... More

This is a must and please use this tour Company. All the staff are great and very knowledgeable. It was an amazing experience and the guides are passionate about their island Unlike other, less Eco friendly tours, Devs puts the ecology of the island first.

We did the bird-watching tour as part of our honeymoon a few weeks ago and it was excellent. As someone whose wildlife interests usually extend as far as watching David Attenborough for 5 minutes, Wendy, the extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic guide, made this a morning to remember. We saw something like 36 species of birds, including a full house of... More

My wife and I went to 2 tours, mangrove trip and birdwatching trip, and they both were absolutely spectacular. The guides are professional, fun and so nice to chat to, and they go out of their way to explain everything and answer all your questions. In the mangrove trip, you start with going through a little bat cave and get... More

We did the mangrove kayaking and loved it m! It was a really cool way to see the geoforest and we got to go to places you can't see in a boat. Our guide Mandy was fantastic, she took really great care of us and was really informative. Definitely recommend!

We did the full day kayak and bat cave tour. At first we thought our charming guide, Jerome was dragging on too long at the bat cave, but explained that we had to wait until high tide to enter the mangroves by kayak. After that explanation, we really enjoyed the constant flow of interesting facts and stories from Jerome. He... More

Particularly impressed with the bird watching tour. Saw the three species of hornbill and a range of other birds (orioles, sunbirds, egrets, etc). Just one other couple & Wendy our guide had very good knowledge and was adaptable and patient while looking for the iconic birds we were after. We had a great time, my non birdwatching daughter really enjoyed... More

We did the evening jungle walk. Our guide was lovely, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. However we left disappointed, and felt we paid a lot of money for what the tour was. You basically walk round the Berjaya hotel grounds where you see most of the animals, which you could do for free. Then you follow a path in the jungle where... More

We booked the mangrove boat tour directly with Dev while on a cruise. The tour included a ride down the river through the mangroves, visit to the bat cave, a short beach swim, scenic ride through some islands on open water, and a floating restaurant lunch. Our guide, Yung, was very pleasant and she answered all questions in knowledgeable detail.... More
