Went there through a Speed boat trip. The location is beautifule but beaware of MONKEYS. The climb up can be a bit tedious with young children specially if it rains.
The view is great and I have heard great things about the water. But for a person like myself who can't swim, unfortunately I felt left out on the shore. The water is fairly deep (15m-20m) so getting in the water is definitely a no-no for me. They advise people to wear life jacket for safety measure. There are no... More
After a short walk through the jungle we came to this amazing fresh water lake that is surrounded by jungle. There were lots of locals just sitting on the deck paddling and a few paddle boats further out but we along with a couple of westerners were the only ones swimming so pretty much had it to ourselves. It is... More
We visited the Lake of the Pregnant Maiden during a RM30 Island hopping tour which lasted around 4 hours. To be honest, the rest of the tour was pretty lousy due to bad weather, however the lake turned out to be much better than imagined. It's incredibly serene and mystic to have a swim there, not to mention sticking your... More
Nice lake and fairly tranquil, beautiful scenic mountains. We swam a bit inside and was so relaxing. I would suggest they have some more ramps otherwise you will have trouble getting out of the water! Also would be good to have a floating island somewhere for swimmers. One of the visits you need to go when on Langkawi!
It was quit nice trip called Island hopping costing 45 R for 4 hours take you into 3 places by boat. We drank from the fresh water lake and rent a solar Paddle boat for 30 R for 30 min. quit romantic
My daughter; an 8 months old really love the idea of soaking her feet in the lake. The view was breathtaking but we did not stay long due to the rain.
This was included as part of the island hopping experience. The trip to the island by boat was really very scenic. Getting to the lake involved a trek through a forest. The lake itself was very beautiful and was surrounded by mountains. We rented a paddle boat ( life jackets included) and paddled to the middle of the lake which was... More
Really cool lake on an island. Our friends thought it would be fun to swim to the other side... I don't suggest this as they were soooo tired and had cramped legs because they had to swim so far. It is nice to take a dip in the freshwater lake surrounded by beautiful mountains
Need to take a boat ride to get to the lake. It is very peaceful at the lake, u get to dip in the lake and life jacket is provided. Younger children <5yo may not fit into the life jacket as it may be too big. There are also paddle boats for rental.
