views, weather, water everything was perfect. It's not crowded at all and you can see the sunset. Neat and clean, but you need a car/cab to reach there.

Tanjung Rhu is the opposite of Cenang Beach. But thats why you need to experience both.Cenang is full of people and jetskis and noisy.Tanjung Rhu is very quiet and peaceful.Great for couples and for romancing. You can have a quiet swim and nobody would bother you.Take a beach mat, coupla beers, food ,a book and you could spend the entire day in peace... A fantastic beach, with white sand and warm, quiet water. Low tide there is very low! Wait for the sunset, it will blow your mind. Too bad a large portion of the beach is part of the Four Seasons hotel and is not accessible to the public. Definitely one of the finest beaches of Langkawi and still, there is barely... More

If you are driving, set your markings towards the Four Seasons resort, then go further down the road all they way till the end. Though half of the beach is a private beach belonging to a resort, there are still plenty of space for public use. Nice and clean with superb view of the horizon. Only 1 dilapidated shack for... This is a great spot to visit. Quiet, unspoiled nature. Beach has a great view of islands and clearer water than the rest of the island.

Tanjung Rhu is a beach that I would recommend as compared to the other beaches as it had a more wild feeling to it. Creeping pink flowers that trailed along the beach made it feel absolutely summery and to boot, the sea stacks that you could view from the beach are pretty. This is a pleasant beach for a picnic... Certainly worth the drive up to the north of the island. We took a scooter (around 35 RM per day / 7 €). Well signed roads and easy enough to find with a basic map of the island! Don't be put off by the barrier across the road when you get near to the beach - you have to fill... More

Over-water restaurant with really friendly staff....also good food... The team was friendly and welcome was warm....some of them spoke hindi and were bollywood fans....so a bit of indian-ness felt good.... Worth going if you are staying nearby...

Great place for a swim and usually very quiet. If you have a hire car or scooter this place should be on your to do list and best of all it is a free activity. No toilet facilities though.
