Shows all the gifts that were given to the Country by different countries. Beautifully displayed and a very large Museum. We spent well over an hour there and could have spent more, small eating area and restrooms available. Modern museum for Langkawi.

For display of gifts received, this gallery has lots more than i expected. This prime minister must have travelled extensively during his tenure. The gifts are gorgeous and plenty, one can easily spend 2 hours there. Unforgunately, most guidebooks seem to overlook it and thus provide scant info about this place. In the gallery, I wish there were some descriptions... More

It is a nice museum to pay a visit for. Entrance fee is cheap. You will be blown by all the gifts that the Malaysia ex-PM received from other countries or organizations during his service period.

This is some sort of a museum of souvenirs. Souvenirs received by the former prime minister of Malaysia who served 22 years. Imagine the number of items he has received during those times. Obviously they only give good stuff to a prime minister and you can view them here. They charge a fee for entry and there is another charge... More

We visited here after a chance meeting with the architect and talking to him. Inside you will find all the gifts given to the Malaysian leader from countries across the globe, some wonderful artefacts. If you have nothing to do then visit the gallery

Must visit attraction in Langkawi. Do not miss this at any cost. Great collections of gifts presented to ex Malaysian Prime Minister Dr. Mahathir Mohammed by governments and dignitaries from around the world (includes cars, bikes, F1 sports car). The gallery is spread over three halls A, B and C. Equally impressive is the Islamic architecture in each of these... More

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, doctor by training,is the architect of modern Malaysia, and a shining figure among statesmen. The fabulous gifts he received during his political career, and the amazing collection of automobiles he rode on are all on display, spanning several floors and buildings, and beautifully presented in clear,well-maintained glass cabinets. There are ramps for easy strolling across the various levels;the construction and architecture of the... More
