The Kilim geopark is beautiful (a UNESCO heritage site) but the eagle feeding must be stopped! Feeding the eagles on the mangroves tourists changing their feeding habits and this is being passed on to their progeny (the parents teach their offspring to feed at the lake rather than hunt properly.) Animals should never be used for humans amusement.

Tour around the North of the island and through the mangroves looking at the animals in the area. Our guide was excellent. It was obvious that he was passionate about his subject and had so much information to give us. Saw bats, monkeys, fed fish, eagles, crabs & mudskippers.

The mangrove tour is absolutely worth the money .. We paid RM 300 for 2 hours private tour with the tour guide, Arvind.
The prices are optional depending on how long you wanna spend and the number of pax you are with. For us, two hour was sufficient. We were a family of four.
