It's basically a ferry that takes you from A to B. You don't see anything because its not taking you to see anything? It's just simply a 3 hour ferry from one island to another at very good value. You don't get the ferry to France and complain you didn't see anything? And you wouldn't get it for RM65 either.... More

We rented private boat for $116 and had nobody talking loudly or shouting. Private boat is expensive but for one hour you are the master of the boat, it takes you cave where are zillion bates sleeping, not to fear. But don't waste time with too much guide about history of plants etc. Spend more in boat and sea eagles... More

So you choose a £10 ferry ride over a £100 plane ride for a 3 hour journey then complain! Come on guys get over it you get what you pay for. Ok maybe in Europe you get a mini cruise experience on a ferry but you ain't in Europe. Toilets are dirty, views are minimal and cabin is cold but... More

I took ferry from Penang to Langkawi and it was quite a rough ride. Besides, it was super cold inside, which caused me being sick for the rest of my holiday. Take warm clothes because you'll be seated in a "fridge." The trip was quite long too, about 3 hrs and nothing to see because water kept splashing at the... More

We popped over to Satun Thailandl from Langkawi. It takes about an hour. Other reports will tell You about the seats etc and to take food and even go to the loo before you get on board. Satun is the cheaper trip compared to going the other way koi lipe (almost 3 times the price but you do get a... More

We'd read the crossing from Langkawi to Penang could be rough, but our journey was pretty calm. It was easy to book tickets online, and collect them from ticket office, and boarding was simple. Journey itself was fine, with good view of Islands. But everyone stays indoors and the crew amused us by playing pirate film 'Captain Phillips' on the... More

We took this ferry a few days ago and it was absolutely fine, if nothing special. It wasn't rough and I didn't notice anyone being sick. Seating was all inside, aircon was pretty strong but not uncomfortable (although I was glad that I was wearing trousers, not shorts). You do need to board the ferry via a short wooden walkway,... Was here to take the ferry. This is a place to take the ferry out of langkawi. Wouldn't called it an attraction. Unless you went to see the eagle at dataran lang and wanted to get some bite. .sure than go. They do have some fast food restaurants there. But to go there just as an attraction. .. ??????
