We left our Resort at 7.50am the taxi driver was very helpful he even took us to the right window at the ferry terminal in Kuah were we brought our tickets 30 ringgit each one way. Previous sites have mention different times but this ferry leaves at 9am. So leave enough time to go through customs. You are given a... More

Based on previous reviews our expectations weren't too high. Nevertheless due to limited early morning flight options a group 8 including 3 kids took the express ferry with a less than 5 minute stop at the dive site. Our entire luggage of 7 big suitcases were taken at the entrance and we didn't have to deal with it until we... More

My Simple Advice - Take a ferry trip to or from Kuala Perlis as the journey is shorter compare to or from Kuala Kedah..The bus stand at Kuala Perlis is just a walking distance whereby you have take a cab to Alor Star Town for a RM20 journey...so why pay more..

Having read some of the commentary here and can not understand what you're talking about! This is a ferige company and not a cruise ship! it was very simple to buy a ticket, and the boat trip was surprisingly quick! I might also add that I grew up by the water and boats such as these can not capsize! they... More

Penang to Langkawi, had a really rough crossing, 2 and1/2 hours of passengers throwing up into sick bags. I was scared, at points I thought it was going to capsize. There was no safety demo beforehand and no announcements during the really turbulent times, also there were a couple of power outages and nobody knew what was happening. Sick bags... More

How about this, you queued for one hour to get the tickets, and at exactly 7pm, they simply closed the counter. People who were still in the queue were simply told to come back the next day. Seriously? To queue for more than 1 hour just to buy the tickets was unreasonable at all. And to be told to come... More

We took this ferry from Kuala perlis to Langkawi (had taken an overnight bus from KL to perlis). Though I reached before the 730 ferry, I could get tickets only for the 830 ferry. and the ferry left late - and took forever to reach Langkawi. Probably, the delays could be attributed to LIMA 2013 show that was going on.... More

We thought a ferry ride to Lankawi would be a nice way to see other islands, but both there and back we were seated indoors with no option to go outside the ferry at all and the windows were pretty much opaque so you couldn't see outside. We watched 2 movies each way- both times we saw the same French... More

Don't use the ferry if you are planning to visit Langkawi. There are nothing at all except you have to wait for at 4-5 hour to get on board. My family and I visited LIMA this year. We came in by Kuala Kedah jetty on the 28th Mac. 2013 . I drove from Penang from 7am, reached jetty at 915am,... More
