I wish there was a negative review for this. There is nothing good about the trip that I can write about. The price is expensive. It's VERY crowded, full of package tourists who just want to feed the fish and take picture. I came here to dive, and I have to say this is the worst dive shop in the... More

For this to be advertised as a snorkelling trip is a bit criminal in my opinion, especially at 130RM p/p. Sure, the water is clearer than that off the coast of Langkawi but there is no live coral and the only fish there are the ones after all the food that is being fed to them. There is nothing natural... More

Terrible organisation .... There is a complete lack of information as you are carted cattle like in a very old smelly boat to an overcrowded platform with a very small snorkelling area with terrible visibility which gets worse as the day continues due partly by the huge numbers kicking up the sand and standing on the coral and by the... My husband and I first took this snorkelling trip around ten years ago and decided to again while on holiday in Penang this January. I read many reviews before taking the trip and so felt I knew what to expect. We did not take the company bus to the jetty so did not experience the waiting times expressed by other... More

worst dive ever, the platform is overpopulated, it has nothing with serious diving to do, it's a dive factory, 350 ringgit for a single dive, very bad dive with really poor visibility, diveguide was the last man in the water, and had no idea about current direction or anything. diving area was freshly painted without signage so we had paint... A lot of waiting on this trip, with really impatient, rude and unhelpful staff who ignored people for the majority of the day. They chain smoked and rarely smiled. -Told to be promptly at the hotel at 0800, bus arrives 0825 - Arrive jetty terminal, wait in line out front for 15 mins - Move to departure point on jetty,... We paid around 300 RM each from our hotel (so about $100 AUD) to do this day trip and yes it's expensive but I don't understand why people are complaining so much since it's covers everything for the whole day. The platform is in the middle of the sea so obviously it won't be beautifully clean and pristine- get over... More

We paid 313 RM/person from Penang it took us 2 h to get there so in total you will waist 5 hours just to travel there. Therefore book only if you are in Langkawi (45 min away). First half of the day was terrible... It was to much wind and waves so you couldn't snorkel with clear view, then they... More

All I have to say to those who have been to the andaman sea to snorkel, just don't waste your money to snorkel at pulau payar (apparently the best place to snorkel in langkawi). Firstly, it was difficult to find the main operators (I heard there were 3) but many commission based vendors near kuah jetty selling snorkeling/ diving packages.... More

Ok..first thing first. Given an option to rate the place and operator separately..I will go for a 4* for the location and 1* for the operator. Having said that, once in langkawi Pulau Pyar is a must see attraction. This being my first snorkeling trip..i quite enjoyed it!There are two options in this..The beach package (150 RM for an adult)... More
