It was dirty, animals looked like they were not cared for. All the water bowls had green algae in them. Not sure how this place can continue to run. It was awful to see the state of the enclosures. The animals deserve better.

if u're in JB and dunno what to do, then the Zoo might be a good place to visit. the animals might not be that much but for RM2 entrance fee, i wont complain. still able to enjoy with my family there. wont hurt to try.

We visited the JB zoo with my two kids in March 2013. The zoo is not big. But still got quite a few animals to see. The distance of observing the animals is quite close. This is a very little zoo with a handful of animals. The entrance cost is less than $1 and so you should not expect too much. It is a fun place to spend a morning with small kids. We didn't find the food to be very good but it is all very cheap and drinks and snacks are well priced... More

I never make the activity there. atmosphere naturally suited for animals that are in zoos. attracted by the indulgence of animals such as tigers who have been trained since childhood. cage the animals that are kept preserved from the times before. staff services provided are also very satisfactory.
