The State Place probably refers to the cluster of State buildings directly opposite the Johor Bahru Waterfront City. It comprises the High Court, the Magistrate Court, the Central Post Office, Taman Sultan, the Land Office, the Tourism Board, the State Secretariat Building, etc. I came to visit this place for at least five occasions. It was blocked off with police and we could not get in, but it was interesting from the outside. If you are out for a walk, go take a look, but do not make a special trip.

The place is like death city as most place has been closed down especially the museum, culture places and few famous restaurants. It seems due to the immigration office has been transfer to causeway, lot of place has been closed down due to less people

Connected to Singapore by road and rail via a modern... More
