Type: Landmarks & points of interest, Sights & Landmarks
Owner description: Strategically located in the heart of the city and only a stone's throw from the customs and immigration checkpoint, Johor Bahru City Square stands out as a central landmark in JB. With its more than 200 retailers, it offers a host of fashion, entertainment and restaurants. All catered to wow the senses and satisfy the needs. Rush in when the doors open at 10am for breakfast, then head out and start your shopping adventure of clothes, shoes, bags, trinklets, toiletries, electronic toys. Everything the heart desires. Unique to Johor Bahru City Square is the Inner City, an eclectic mix of smallish fashion and accessory shops plus restaurants housed in a tight, quaint setting. Always a firm favorite of the "NOW" generation. After many hours of shopping, rest the feet in one of the numerous restaurants and cafes or indulge in a soothing foot massage, then go on to treat the rest of the body at a salon.

Pros: lots of outlets, lots to eat, events always at the scene, best part of it: JUST BESIDE BRANDED-SELLING JBCC KOMTAR~a street away, you've got it~ *p.s. reach RHB bank (corner where Cotton On located) at ground floor, go out, you will saw JBCC KOMTAR just opposite the street. Cons: Okay, you see kinds of people here, you walk bends... More

This is the sort of place that has been created with the aim of attracting tourists and THEIR MONEY. Tourist traps will typically provide services, entertainment, souvenirs and other products for tourists to purchase. The price is like 1 of the MOST EXPENSIVE in JB. It's much better to take a short cab/free bus to KSL or other malls that... More

City Square is well-organised with the upmarket outlets at one side or at particular floors and the Inner City with it's cheaper brics and bracs, young fashion in the other. It also has a wide selection of food outlets to interest varied palettes. This is why it is always bustling with people and if one likes crowd, it is the... More

It is situated just a stone's throw away from the Malaysia CIQ. Very convenient for those who wants to get away from Singapore but too lazy to go further. This mall is newly renovated with a wide variety of shops to go about. There is also a cinema on the top level. Decent range of restaurants available. Mostly Halal certified.

Can get almost anything under one roof and the mall is just after the causeway. Nice restaurants and there is a cinema in the mall too.

Not the most grand shopping malls, but it is conviniently located beside the JB CIQ. it has a decent range of food and shopping options as well. Good choice if taking the public transportation to JB.

Went over the weekend. Not so crowded. Very surprised as it is nearing to Chinese New Year. Atrium is occupied by vendors selling new year goodies. Prices not cheap. Restaurants also not so crowded. Wondering why???

I go here often with friends or family... It's not extraordinary. Just great value for Singaporeans who want to enjoy cheap food, cheap movies & cheap massages! For Singaporean Muslims will find it a plus point that most restaurants that aren't halal in SG, are halal here.
