The museum/jomon site are both free, and for that, it's very impressive what they can do. You can go in and view the museum, which houses artifacts from ancient civilization (daggerheads, pottery, etc.) as well as go view the reconstructed Jomon buildings, which is also pretty neat. I really like this museum (no fee). It has an indoor portion and the actual site where they have recovered archeological evidence of the Jamon people. Not many foreign visit this site.Staffs can't speak english well but they are so kind and try to help us. We can learn about history of Jomon.
