Visit here for a local Onsen experience. No English but very helpful staff. For larger folks the issued towel may be too small - they have a bigger one for a few yen extra. This onsen is right next to the famous Dogo onsen, tapping the same hot spring, but it has a very different feeling. While Dogo is a big tourist destination with a long history, this is more of a community onsen where locals go to bathe their daily worries away. A good-sized change room and bathing area with several tubs with... More
