Nice beach to relax

Beautiful beach to relax and tan. Not sand but dead corals and stone. Areas for swimming, shower facilities. A lot of birds and crabs on the shore.

Save yourself the hassle(unless you staying at the resort ANA), as this is potentially the worst beach I have ever seen in my life, sun beds are mediocre same as the umbrellas(and they cost 3000 yen per day), stones instead of sands makes it hard to walk and the water is notvery clear, love Japan so far, but this is... It is not worth it to waste time visiting this beach when there are others such as Kondoi beach in Taketomi that are much better and a short ferry ride away. Maezato is a beach run by the big ANA resort, therefore it has good facilities, it is clean and there is a safety net in the sea. However it... More

We visited several beaches on Ishigaki and this was by far the worst. There's a small swimming area, but no where to walk. The beach is kept fairly clean by the resort. They do have "barriers" set up to break the waves, which makes the water calm. There isn't much for views on the beach.

Like my title says it is a beach and it is water so that is good:) Compared to the other beaches in Ishigaki this one was the one I liked the least. You can take a safe swim even when jellyfish since there is nets, do watersports….. But not so nice in my opinion. And everybody can use it even... More

The only advantage of this beach is that it is very close to the city centre. However with so many paradise-like beaches on the island this one seems rather dissapointing. It is a hotel beach really, althrough anyone can come here.
