Kabira is well known in Ishigaki because it is the departing point form many glass boat tours and other snorkeling company. It is a beautiful bay but if ypu travel west of the kabira village then ypu will ge to see less crowded spots that are net fenced to, protect from jellyfish. There is one area by Ishigaki seaside hotel... More

If you visit Ishigaki, you must visit Kabira Bay, this is a must do activity! Kabira Bay is so beautiful that you will never forget her! It is easy to go even without driving a car. I went there by bus, the staff at bus terminal can use simply English to explain about the situation. Suggest you to check the... More

It is the postcard for Ishigaki for a reason, it is a beautiful place especially on a sunny day. It is a must see in Ishigaki. In my opinion it is not worth to stay for the night in Kabira, one hour is enough to see Kabira bay and there is a bus that goes from the city centre to... More

Beautiful views are to be had, but the lovely beach is not accessible. Come for a view and for lunch overlooking the bay if driving around the island. But do not come expecting to sunbathe.

First off, you can't swim in that beach but it's ok, Just the view itself is good enough for me. The sandy white beach and clear blue water is stunning. The ice cream shop above the beach is also yummy and do have a try if you are going there!

A nice view, no real beach. Um what else to say....good diving I guess with all the dive boats there. Easy parking and a few tourist shops and cafes close by.

This is a nice place to visit and take a few photos, as the bay is truly spectacular. There are plenty of boats around though and no swimming allowed, which is disappointing. Take a glass boat tour anyway to see some marine life, and have a nice little cruise around this beautiful bay, it's worth the price!

Kabira bay is definitely one of the most beautiful bays I have ver seen. It is extremely well preserved. The colours of the water changes with the time of day, so when you visit the bay during different hours of the day, it looks different. I guess it's a good thing that no swimming is allowed as this preserves the... More

as the local guys told us due to the poisonous jellyfish. I wonder if that’s the true, if you can swim on this beach it will definitely make your life complete.
