While I was visiting Miyazaki major attractions were Aoshima beach and Udo shrine. From Aoshima to Udo shrine on the way is Nichinan coast. So, no one needs extra time or effort to visit here, you can do it all the way long. There are several view points on the way.

The Nichinan Coast is a long strip of coastline centered on Nichinan City, starting south of Miyazaki City and continuing down to Cape Toi. While it in itself is an attraction, it also contains other attractions such as Aoshima and the Udo Shrine. To see it, you definitely need your own transportation. If you take a bus, you'll just see... More

The coastline is beautiful especially on sunny days. The hightlight is stopping by the place called the "Devil's Washboard". Cross the road from the parking lot and go straight to the staircase that leads you all the way down to the wave-shaped rocks known as the "Devil's Washboard" miles on both side of the seaside. Here you'd admire the power... More
