One of those cool things to see. It seemed pretty far out of the way, but if in the area check it out for sure. I only got a picture from the bus tour I was on, but it was still cool.

Maybe I am crazy, but I thought this was the coolest thing on the island. Can you imagine seeing the past and the future at the same time? I thought it was so cool to be able to see how much land was completely covered by lava many years ago. To be able to stand on a part of history...

Not that really interesting to see. Its basically a buried Tori in the ground. If you have a fascination with the depth of the lava flow then this is a must for you!

It is interesting to see that only remain of the eruption of 1914. But once you've seen it, ok...you have done the round very quickly.
It is easy to find, a little bit off the road.There are english explanations but not very precise. I was a bit disappointed, I thought it was more impressive.
