As you approach Nagasakibana Cape, the final half kilometer or so is blocked to general traffic and you are funneled into the large parking lot facing the Parking Garden park. From there, it's easy to get the impression that the only way to walk down to the coast to see the beautiful view of Mt. Kaimon is to pay ¥1200... More

I recall this park had a small zoo with colorful parrots you can get close up to. And there was a pink flamingo show. There are climbing platforms made of wood. A good view of Mt. Kaimondake can be seen. This mountain is perfectly symmetrical, similar to Mt. Fuji. I highly recommend that more gaijin visit this area south of... More
