Momochi Seaside Park is a great place to go to relax on the beach and enjoy the sea. Very clean and the only rude people we ever see is rude エイゴ/americans, koreans and chinese. (These few tend to be the ones that are load and/or drunk, and have no manners.) There are restaurants and shops all around. You can spend... More

Lovely sandy man made beach, usually very clean though the water is not that clear and I've spent a few summer days here over the years. Lots of food and bar stalls and it is bustling and lively on the weekend (in summer!) and a good place to relax or escape the city. Has changing rooms and showers. Not the... More

This is artificial beach at Momochi area. Beach is always clean. During summer season, people enjoy swimming and sunshine. There are some restaurants, including oyster hut during the season. You can ride a boat to Uminonakamichi peninsula side. Parking space is allocated along the beach. The nearest subway station is Nishijin. If you walk from the station, it may take... More

I really enjoy myself through my summertime while I was living in Fukuoka, riding my bike along the beach, swimming a bit here and see the sunset from a local bar terrasse. This beach made me think a bit of Barcelona waterfront, *personal opinion, with the view of the waterfront + the city. A nice way to see the Fukuoka.... More

There's really not much to do, but take a nice stroll along the seaside. It has a nice mix of modern buildings and nature everywhere. Great place to take a picture stroll, especially if you're going to go to Fukuoka Tower and the Yahoo Dome anyway :)

The signage is confusing and finding the best place to park was not an easy task. Once there, we paid to entre the park and the discovered that anything beyond the play areas were an additional charge (for example 800yen per person to ride the cars). The park is huge and bikes are required to make traveling between the different... More

Lovely walking area, nice park, average beach, some good little restaurants too. Great place to hang out and watch the sunset!
