After visiting canal city, and being very disappointed on shopping, this mall was a very welcome surprise. Good shops, good discounts, and even European size clothes. I was happy! Yes, it's quite far from town. But worth it. the ferris wheel is superb too.

I had read various reviews of the outlet center and almost chose not to visit. In my opinion, it would have been a mistake. Yes, it is quite distant from Hakata and Tenjin, but after we figured out how to take the city bus, getting there and back was easy and cheap. First, taking a bus in Fukuoka (and I... More

This outlet is far from Hakata area around 30-40 minutes and if you take a taxi, you'll pay around 6500 JPY. This outlet is separated for two zones. The first one is near the car park named Outlet Zone, another one is in the opposite side called Marine Zone. These two zone has the sky walkway at the second floor... More

Outlet mall located in the western outskirt. There are some restaurants, however most are shopping area. The nearest station is JR/subway Meinohama, but too far to walk and reach there. If you drive, go out the highway Meinohama exit. Parking charge is free for 5 hours on weekdays, 2 hours on weekend. On weekend, usually there's traffic jam to enter... More

It's an outlet with a lot of imported goods/stores from the U.S. or Europe. Not worth the time if you are from that part of the world.

My title says it all, lots of American brand stores with cheap prices. The store personnel really go out of their way to give you extra discounts as well. I was purchasing sweater from Hurley, but they had no new ones, only the one hanging on the rack which was already discounted, but the girl took off an extra 40%... More

If you are staying for quite long in Fukuoka, maybe it is worthwhile going to this outlet. There are quite a lot of shops and the prices are fair. Most of the shops are selling clothes but there other shops like Tfal, Sylvanian Families, etc There are also some restaurants and a Starbucks. The parking lot is quite big, and... More

Marinoa City is a shopping centre inside urban area, you will arrive the shopping mall within 35 to 40 minutes from Hataka JR Station. You could locate many famous brand and the price was fair enough. You can spend one whole day here to get all you want!

Marinoa outlet was a large area but I don't think it is worth coming back to. There were several clothing stores (Japanese and American brands), a few restaurants, and a large ferris wheel. Keep in mind that it is an outdoor mall, so if you travel in December (or any winter months) like I did, you will be freezing your... More
