Marinoa outlet was a large area but I don't think it is worth coming back to. There were several clothing stores (Japanese and American brands), a few restaurants, and a large ferris wheel. Keep in mind that it is an outdoor mall, so if you travel in December (or any winter months) like I did, you will be freezing your... More

The Marinoa City shopping center is quite remote to the central area. The outlet store there really sells very "outdated" items with little choice. Dont' worth to go unless you have plenty of time staying in the city.

A huge place with quite a number of shops but there is nothing much to really buy if you ask me. We checked out a couple of international brands as well as local brands and it is not all that cheap if you compare to the european standards of an outlet mall. There is a big toy shop there, babies... More

Wanted to go for driving with friends. Went around and came back empty handed. Liked the goods but I found nothing fitting. Perhaps Japanese body size are too slim - no curves and bulges. In the evening, tried whale and octopus in neighborhood. That was much better experience than being in the city.

We went there twice and shop till we dropped. Prices there are about half of the usual prices and even new stocks will be given 20% off. Even it takes 40 mins by bus (from Stop A of bus terminal at Hakata station) to there, it is still worth going.

I visited last August 2012. Everything was surely cheap because it's low season and it's normally cheap in Japan. However, we didn't plan to visit Marinoa only. We planned to visit the island near the outlet, which required to take a boat across the river. This year April 2013, I'll revisit this outlet again to visit the island near the... More

Despite it is promoted as an outlet, but items sold there are nothing special and no discount is offered like similar outlets in other parts of the world.

Visited with the significant other for her to accomplish gift shopping. Very well laid out and spacious and prices were reasonable given what we had seen to date. Would suggest maybe not pinning too much hope on clothes shopping there, as the larger european frame could be harder to shop for

It's a very nautica feel outlet, near to the sea. Shopping wise, felt that Tosu Premium Outlet may have better offers compared to this. The ferris wheel was a nice experience though it was only a 5 mins ride. From there, u can see Yahoo Dome and the Fukuoka Tower. Overall, it's still a good to go. Remember to get... More

This is a very nice outlet shopping centre. Its open-air design makes it feel less claustrophobic than other shopping centres. I have bought many items of women's clothing with significant discounts from the regular prices in downtown Tenjin. There is no point comparing the prices to one's home country-- the prices are significantly less expensive for Japan. I like the... More
