Family Vacation

The view of the city and the water is great, but it is expensive for the family to go up the tower..

If the weather is good you will have a great view. Price is cheap (compared to the TV tower in Auckland)

Great to get a nice overview of the city, and the pointers to other countries (e.g. England!!) is a nice touch. Remember to brandish your passport to get a discount as an "alien" - the locals have to pay full price.

This is a lovely (yet ordinary) tower, located by the sea. While the view from the tower is nice, you don't really have to go up the tower - just go to the nearby Hilton hotel and get the exact same views. Having said that, the tower does look beautiful at night, when it is nicely lit.

Another tower, another view. Fukuoka doesn't have the best view ever but you know it's still fun to be s high above the seashore. This is not Tokyo sky tree so not a lot of co-visitors.

it was ok for us but it is not one of the best thing we did at fukuoka. The area when we walk to the tower are nice and peaceful. We love that moment. but the top of the tower are same like everywhere else in the world.

Weather was good so we had a very clear view from the top. The lighting at the 3rd level for lovers sanctuary was poor so photos don't turn out well.

If coming to this area, be sure to see the dome and stop by robosquare (shop dedicated to robots) in the TNC mall next door. Truthfully you'll get as good of a view of the city by simply going into the Hilton a few blocks down and getting a drink at their 35th floor bar. But Fukuoka tower does hold... More
