If coming to this area, be sure to see the dome and stop by robosquare (shop dedicated to robots) in the TNC mall next door. Truthfully you'll get as good of a view of the city by simply going into the Hilton a few blocks down and getting a drink at their 35th floor bar. But Fukuoka tower does hold... More

Fukuoka Tower is a fair distance from the downtown core, without too much else around. It provides a great vantage point to overlook the city and harbour. We were there on a bit of a dull, grey day. Perhaps our assessment would be different if we visited on a sunny day.

The are next to the tower is an attraction in itself, with plenty of seafood restaurants and a nice pier. The tower itself is very beautiful. The view is amazing and the admission is quite cheap.
