Nice view of the city. Lookout for a huge "Camera" near the entrance. You can place your camera on it for a nice selfie with the tower as the background. Remember to get your free ticket if your birthday falls within 3 days of your visit.

Standing tall at 234meters from the base to tip, this tower is usually visited by tourists. Only if you are interested to see the entire city from its tallest peak. Fukuoka tower is often referred to as the "Mirror sail" -- made with 8,000 one way mirrors the triangle tower is a sail of glimmering mirrors. For lovers, this is... More

The weather was rainy but there were still some pretty good views. I love going to high places so this was a good trip.

Beautiful view on a beautiful day... after you have taken the view, walk along the beach, relax and enjoy. Warning very few ATMs near here... so if you don't have change you may have a problem!

Choose a clear day if possible for the superb panoramic views of the city. Allow minimum of two hours to maximise the visit.

The area around it is beautiful, with the sea, the dome and many restaurants and cafés, but in winter it was a bit empty. The tower is just a tall building to enjoy the view of the bay, but to be honest it didn't seem to be worth the ticket.

You get a great view of the ocean - worth going to if you haven't been up a sky tower yet. Try to go on a clear sunny day

Great views from the observation floors, but there's not much else. It's a bit of a walk (20-25 minutes) from the nearest subway station so I'd say it's worth visiting if you're in the area to see other attractions (Fukuoka City Musuem, RoboSquare, the baseball stadium, etc).
