The primary purpose of our Tour visit was to the Godzilla Slide. However, I'm not sure if the attraction was expecting a tour in the early August heat with no flowers to show for it, since the gate prevented something the size of our bus from entering the parking lot. However, this was cleared up in sort order. After a... More

Kurihama Flower Land has a great kids play land just a short walk from the park entrance (700 m). If you don't like walking, there is a 'road train.' We were impressed with easy parking, just 620 yen at our visit. The playland has ropes, zipline, logs, slides, roller slides, and more. There is also a giant godzilla, which is... More

Parking areas are not in the same place and it is a hike uphill to Godzilla park. Once up to the park, kids will have a blast. There is shaded picnic/sitting area. Kids loved it, and got energy out. I did carry my little one up to the park. He simply couldn't make the walk at 21/2 years. My 5... More

All my life I have watched the Godzilla movies, and then my own sons grew up watching them too!!! I came to Tokyo to visit my niece in the Navy and just had to go see the Godzilla in Flowerland!!! It was worth the walk up the 700 meter path and even though it was a rainy cold day to... More

The place is very big, with the bed of cosmos flowers. We could walk around the area, since there are many to explore. But since the place is high and I have to hike, which is very tiring for me hehehe, I ride a train to go to the end of the garden. I have to pay 210 yen for... More

Great place for families with children. I went with friends. Most of the flowers were not in bloom but we still had fun. There is a giant Godzilla slide and roller slides.

We visited Flower World several times and really enjoyed the experience. We have small children and spent most of our time either hiking to the playground and giant Godzilla or playing there. We did travel to the herb gardens once and were not very impressed. If you are going for the poppies and the playground it is great and you... More

I visited this park in the 4th week of last Sep. Walked from JR Kurihama Station for 15-20 minutes, easy walk on the main street and easy to follow the signage. About 20 % of the cosmos were in bloom. It was after a big typhoon, many of the cosmos had been knocked down and park workers were working to... More

Kurihama Flower Land is well known for their Cosmos in Fall (see my review) and Poppies in Spring. I was fortunate again to visit in mid May. The entire park was ablaze with poppies creating a pink ocean of color. There are many differenct colors and varieties to be seen, but the dominant color was pink. As you exit the... More

Great park. You can either walk from Kurihama Station (15 minute) or park (¥600) on site. You walk through a gorgeous field of flowers either cosmos or poppies depending on the time of the year to go up to the playground area and/or the herb garden. It's a lovely walk, but their is a train to take you up for... More
