I spent the entire day in Yokohama with friends and this was a very memorable experience. the Pier is wonderful and one of a kind; all wood plank and very long. An amazing date spot, whether you're in Yokohama or Tokyo (a short 30 min, 400 yen trip away). I didn't go inside the pier, but the outside was beautiful.... More

Looks almost like a futuristic ship itself. Great views all round and a very cool shipping passenger terminal.

The pier is easy to get to by bus or taxi (although the taxi was more convenient with luggage). There is free WiFi on the pier. The location is good, within walking distance from the red brick warehouses, the train station, and a large drug store at the end of the pier, across the boulevard, where it is easy to... More

as I'm architect by profession visiting Osanbashi pier while we were in Yokohama was a must see/ must do thing for me... And it was really great experience! Truly great work of modern architecture... with some really new and ground breaking ideas and solutions... and seem to me that people of Yokohama as well as visitors to this city embraced... More

Very interesting architecture, although totally dwarfed by our cruise ship. Several boutiques and souvenir shops within the terminal which were open quite late into the evening

This is mainly built to handle the cruise ships that dock in Yokohama. And like all things Japanese does it with great efficiency, courtesy and friendliness. The building itself is almost a work of art that seems to flow. It offers numerous places for visitors to view the ships docked alongside, or just look at the water front. There are... More

The actual pier is not an attraction as it stands, but it does have value if you want to get away from life for a while. The stroll along the pier on a warm sunny day is peaceful and relaxing, with good views of the surrounding water frontage and has easy access to other parts of the area. A short... More

As I am a retired carpenter, the decking on this pier is a work of art and also encompassed shops, restaurants and good parking - worth a visit even if not going on a cruise

We boarded our Princess cruise from this pier and can confirm that it's probably the best cruise pier in the world, and we've been in most of the others.
