Great for people watching

Great place to watch the world go by and people watch. You can see the boats criss crossing the bay and usually there will be a large cruise ship coming or going.

Looks really great on photo but not much to do. No cafe, souvenir shop or museum. About 15 minute walk or 450 meters from Minatomirai Mirai where I stayed. Visit this together with Red Brick warehouse as they are just across each other.

Our ship docked at this pier during our recent Asian cruise. The pier has a very modern & unique looking cruise terminal. There is free wifi in the terminal, along with shops & tourist information. Very friendly & courteous people at the information desk. The pier is in downtown Yokohama, very walkable to Yamashita Park, the Red Brick Warehouse &... More

My favorite place in the city. Lots of open space with no oppressive power cables overhead. Watch the boats come and go and get a great panorama view of the city and bay. Great place when the weather is nice. Not much shade so on a sunny day, bring a hat! Very interesting architecture that feels good to experience. Be... More

Superb view, including Minatomirai and Mt. Fuji. Fine architecture. Visiting during sunset would be ideal.

We walked from Chinatown, easy stroll and it was good to experience the area. There were drivers string in their trucks, some resting and some eating the lunch. All in the parking bays.

We walked on the pier and found it very nice. I think you need to walk it to understand it, it somehow fits with the see/port context very well. Even if there were no ships to be watched around when we went, it was a nice experience.

Nice park of the walk around Yokohama bay... Lucked out as the cruise ship Nippon Maru was tide up along one side and the Japanese Navy training ship Nippon Maru (Sailing Ship) on the other.

Beautiful view especially during sunset timing. Might be hard to navigate from sakuragi station.. but basically just walk straight all the way towards the sea and you'll find your way. Many couples and photographers will be there but sufficient space for all.

It was good to drop by this place to observe the unique design and capture some photos for memory. There are ample parking under the pier building.
