I had been to Yokohama before for the World Cup 2002 and walking through Yokohama we stumbled on this stadium which confused me because it looks like the Nissan stadium where the World Cup matches were held. It was Thursday afternoon but there was a baseball game being played. They let us have a look but baseball is the poor's... More

This is such a fun stadium to come and watch baseball. There is a wide variety of food vendors, and every seat is good. Seats are Japanese size, which means rather uncomfortable for American bottoms.

Great experience if you like baseball. We when to the last game of the season between the Baystars and Nagoya Dragons. The game was competitive but most enjoyable was experiencing the Japanese fans and their enthusiasm for their team. Each player has a chant that the crowd cheers when they bat. There was also a small band in the stands... More

It is big enough and great. The softball game run smoothly even one hour before the game the rain fell so hard. They didn't cancel the game nor postponed it. All the electronic devices worked well too.

Across the road from our hotel was the Baseball stadium and games were still being played when we visited - had a great chat to two of the staff there and you could just sit around outside and enjoy the atmosphere.

If you like baseball but haven't seen the Japanese version of the game, you really should, and this open-air stadium in downtown Yokohama is as good a place to see it as any. Take JR Keihin Tohoku/Negishi line or the Yokohama City subway Blue Line to Kannai station, walk west and it is a block away. You will be surprised... More

I really enjoyed seeing a Bay Stars game here - much more than the Tokyo Giants game I went to the day before. The stadium is about a 30 min train ride from center Tokyo, then just a short walk from the Yokohama train station. Also, it's in a nice location, right in the center of downtown, within walking distance... More

Easy walk from Shin-Yokohama Station. Modern well designed stadium with easy access amid a park-like atmosphere.

What a great stadium. Clean, organised, bathed in food and drink outlets. Really good views of the game, and 'beer girls' serving beer to you in your seat... great fun all around.
