One of the highlights of Japan to be seen if you happen to be in the area. In walking distance China Town, not to be missed if you are hungry.

Stayed here for a few days and walked along the bay area during the night and the lights across the park were pretty dazzling and wonderful to view, probably would not go out of my way to go here but if in the area would take a walk at night its great.

Yokohama is a really worthy day trip from Tokyo. Very easy to get there through JP rail. The port area is really interesting and also the renovation has been done in a proper way and you can't miss to get there. Minato Mirai area is interesting if you like contemporary architecture but also if you are interested in good food.... More

Great attractions all around for spending a great summer evening out. Lots of entertainments from Ferris Wheel to open cafes and Hard Rock and Star bucks not to mention lots of local Japanese cuisine restaurants.

This area is a must see when visiting Yokohama! Went on a beautiful sunny Saturday and this place is absolutely lively!! We sat down and had a drink at a cafe ( I don't remember the name!) just across the bridge from Minato Mirai 21 and the scene was picturesque. It overlooks the waters and the bridge. It's a perfect... More

This is like a stand alone city. Stores of all grades and sizes from top fashion to utilitarian. Lots of restaurants wherever you go whether at the Queens Towers or at the Landmark or Minato Mirai. You can spend all day here. My favorite is the The Beer Hall Kirin in the basement of Queens Tower A, along with 30... More

This place is awesome! This was the very first place that ever visited upon arriving to Yokohama and still remains a favorite place in my life. Great games, food, sights & sounds. Especially the crepes!! The Ferris wheel is pretty awesome as well by day or night.

A must if you visit Japan. Where Kyoto brings you the soul of japan, this shows its brain. For architects and city planners out there, a lesson in the humanity of concrete, a perfect union of form and function. Aside from aesthetics, minato mirai is a foodie and shoppers paradise. Yokohama station, Bay quarter, Sky building, Colette mare, Landmark tower...... More
