We had an 11 hour layover at the Narita Airport on our way from Thailand back to California so we signed up for Narita Rainbow Tours. It was really wonderful. Katsumi and his assistant picked us up at the airport and took us on a great sightseeing tour of Narita. We stopped at The Naritasan Temple and watched the sacred... More

We were travelling home from Southeast Asia and had planned to do a transit tour with Katsumi from Narita Rainbow Tours so that our sons could get a small taste of Japanese culture. Prior to arriving at Narita, we had had a number of contacts with Katsumi. We had 12 hours and were coming from a 7 hour flight,- with... More

We landed at 4pm in Narita, and couldn't stay awake past 7. Luckily, Katsumi had recommended a 5:30am start for a tour of the temple before our flight the next morning. Watching the sunrise from the temple was beautiful, and Katsumi offered interesting insights on both the temple and Japanese culture in general. He was also very flexible and happy... More

During a long layover on Nov 16th, we enjoyed the Narita Rainbow tour. Our guide, Katsumi shares his exceptional knowledge of this area. The Shinshoji Temple is a truly spectacular sight. Despite having on 2 hours of sleep on our overnight flight to Narita, we barely broke a yawn during the four hours we spent on this tour.

The half day tour of Narita was great. Katsumi picked us up at the airport and we started on our day trip. My wife mentioned that his English was very impressive, turns out, he lived in the States for over 10 years. We saw a few sights of the city including a very interesting ceremony at the Buddhist temple and... More

We are so glad we a got up early for the experience at the fish market and the Fire ceremony plus so much more. Katsumi was so prompt in replying to emails, arrived... More

We had a layover of 11 hours in Narita. Rather than sit in the hotel we checked to see if there was a tour we could do. Having checked our luggage all the way through to Sydney, we only had our carry on to worry about. Rainbow tours picked us up from the front door of the airport and took... More

Katsumi was great! I emailed him 2 days before my 7 hour layover and I was going to pay the price for 2 people to do the 4 hour tour alone (minimum is 2 people), but at the last minute 3 other people joined so I only ended up having to pay $60. He took us to the giant Buddha... More

Two months ago in June I flew my daughter out to Tokyo for a holiday while I was working there. First stop - the Narita temples, and I decided to trust the reviews for Katsumi. So glad I did! My daughter was exhausted after her flight (first flight alone and only 13). Katsumi was warm, chariming, with a wondrful sense... More

We had an 8 hour layover and sought this tour out based on the reviews. It is a terrific trip, with amazing stops at a Buddhist temple, walking through a historic shopping area, touring the countryside, and of course the sushi! Katsumi is a terrific guide, and you won't be disappointed.
