I left Minami Senju in Tokyo at about 9 am on the local JR Joban line to Narita City and got off at Shimousa Manzaki, one stop away from Narita. You have to be careful to get on the part of the train going to Narita because it splits at Abiko - in my case back half of the train... More

It's really a nice small hot spring bath. The architecture is very modern and finished in a very upscale kind of way. The men's side has 2 pools inside, and one in a semi-outdoor setting. I tried the 1-2 persons small private hotspring suite. A small room with a dining table (you can order food and drinks from the restaurant), a private toilet and a semi outdoor balcony with hotspring and bathing area. The view was partially blocked by the bamboo used for protecting your privacy but when you stand up you can still see... More

My wife and I were flying from Bangkok to Winnipeg with a 10 hour stop over at Narita Airport serving Tokyo Japan. We spend the morning at the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and the afternoon at the Hot Spring Bath. What a wonderful experience and great way to soak away jet lag before continuing on our journey.
