The view from Mt Hakodate would have been truly magnificent, if not for then awful weather I experienced on my one evening in Hakodate. Even so, it was worth braving the wind and rain to see it. More

The view from the top was amazing however there needs to be more work done in terms of information available to tourists about the region. It's all good standing and looking at the view but would be even better if there was some info regarding historical sights, points of interest and some Hakodate history to read whilst admiring the view. Famous and a bit touristy, but well worth the time. You kind of feel a camaraderie with the other folks making the trip at night especially if the weather is cold. More

I go to MT.Hakodate late afternoon because I waiting for sun goes down. Waiting for color of sky change to dark is make you clearly to see view of Hakodate town... So romantic. If you go to Hagodate, don't miss to visit here. And have restaurant on that. More
