Stumbled into this place by accident but was a great discovery. Had the Shio ramen at the first stall. Surprise to be offered a discount too (¥500 instead of ¥750). Apparently a 'happy hour' special. All the shops are rather cramped but popular with both foreigners & locals. What we didn't like was the smoking. We saw many places where... More

it consist of 2 small alleys with rows of tiny restaurants. if you take good look, you can find the english name a bit hidden in some shops. Went there for lunch so not many shops are open. We went there to try the Shio gold ramen, which is quite good.

Tried this restaurant called crab shop. There's English menu so if you don't speak or read Japanese, it's alright. The crab is really fresh. You have to order an alcoholic drink whether you want it or not. That's their house rule.

This area is so adorable with a congregation of small restaurants, just off the main shopping street. Wish we had time to try them all, as they were all so intriguing and appealing. Attempting to choose a restaurant is a difficult task as they all appear amazing, but regardless of choice, great food and service

This set of small bars and restaurants were just around the corner from the Tokyoko Inn and were great for convenience and authentic meals. All 4 places we visited had good service and good meals and very reasonable prices. They spoke a little English but tried hard and there were no mixed up orders! Very worth while.

We love the look of this this Yatai street! There are so many choices here, and we love how cosy each little store is. We ventured into Kushi Kin, and order so many different kushiage! All tasted really good! Their yuzu wine and ume wine was really good price too! Love the whole experience! The best part of all was,... More
