The area wan not so big but the scenery was pretty good, and the restaurant beside was very good with afternoon tea and the interior is Japanese style.

The Nagoya City Archives is located in what was originally a court house, built in 1922. Indeed some period court rooms are still open, with manequins standing in "on trial". The court house is a lovely Tasho-era (1912 ~ 1926) building, when European "flavor" was popular, similar to the prefectural and city hall buildings nearby. Entrance is free. One of... More
