Been diving since 1967...so I know my bubbles. This is a top notch professional operation with careful instructors, great staff, and superb planning. TOP PADI, all the way. Now, for the really great part...diving is great...and...the really best part...after two dives they make the best lunch on the boat you can imagine! ...and you wind up back at the Royal... More

Brilliant team of divers who were flexible to our varying needs (one of us was highly skilled and one a novice) - we explored amazing walls and wrecks and loved every minute. I did a course which enabled me to go deeper into the wrecks and found that really simple, straight-forward and the knowledge of the instructors (specially Huw) was... More

My wife, our son, and I went to Aqaba to dive and snorkel. The recommendations of Dive Aqaba in the Lonely Planet guide and online were spot-on. We had a boat crew and divemasters that knew their stuff and were fun to be with, underwater and on the surface. I hadn't dived in a year and was not fully confident,... More

Probably a good spot for technical divers, but not great for casual divers. Spent 3 days with them and it was a very mediocre experience. Guides were nice, but we were taken to poor or repeat dive sites to accommodate technical divers. It was clear that we were not the priority for the dive trips. Would not sue them again.

My wife and I did 2 dives, we did the large Cedar Pride wreck which was a nice site, then a bay one on the way back to Aqaba. Gear was fine but nothing special. Boat was good and there was plenty of space as only 10 or so divers onboard. Food on board was good too. Underwater there was... More

Cannot recommend this dive centre highly enough! We dived with them on 31st May and the whole experience was brilliant. I completed two of my dives towards my advanced open water with Jen. She was great, very professional and patient! Every single member of staff was welcoming, friendly and loads of fun to spend the day with. Thanks for such... More

I first met the Dive Aqaba team 3 years ago and had such a great time I had no hesitation to use them again. And although some members had changed, they are just as welcoming, helpful and friendly as I had come accustomed to. This time round they were a bit busier, but they still managed to help my friend... More

Bit of a slow start in the morning (getting gear loaded, etc), but overall, a well-organised, friendly team, eager to satisfy. Excellent quality food for lunch. Two dives in one day - Japanese Garden (coral experience - good); shipwreck experience - excellent. Would definitely recommend this outfit and will be diving with them again in November, 2014. Can't wait!

My two daughters (aged 15 and 13) spent three days with Dive Aqaba completing their PADI open water certification. The tuition was excellent provided by a professional, safety conscious team of international instructors. Aqaba's good visibility, lack of currents and relatively shallow coral/wrecks provide a great environment for teenagers to learn to dive from Dive Aqaba's boat the Laila. We... More
