Calm beach, nice place for divers

Good place to be as two female friends diving here. There's a separate place for the dive schools which is a good place to stay at. There are locals on the beach as well but as... read more

Head for the ocean beach club and you can hire snorkels for 5jd and snorkel next to the beach to cool down before heading to the beach bar to dry off and warm up ready for more!

The sea is warm and clear and the reef generally very healthy and clean. One or two areas however are ruined by rubbish blown in from the beach. The beach front has paved boulevards with seats, toilets, palms, and shelters, all started in a more prosperous time. Unfortunately the tourist dollar seems to have run out and the whole area... Good place to be as two female friends diving here. There's a separate place for the dive schools which is a good place to stay at. There are locals on the beach as well but as long as you're not flaunting your stuff in a bikini you'll be perfectly fine here. Also cleaner than city beach!

The beach was quiet and nice, gorgeous sunset, overseas is not very clean. On the other hand, compared to other beaches of Aqaba - this is the Best beach

This is the place with the most beautiful underwater sites, though beachside is not good for european style sun-basing and swimming — toilets are dirty, no lounges, umbrellas don't give enough shade and there are lots of locals men and women - the last dressed in traditional costumes with covered faces. Few places to buy refreshments and food (if any).... More

Water is always warm. Great views and rarely crowded. Very quiet and safe too. Good for BBQ, picnics, and families.

Several kilometers out of town, but a lot less people on the beaches. Several great dive sites and amazing snorkeling sites located here. Thursday-Sunday is busier as it's the weekend, but still quieter than the public beach in Aqaba. Great sunsets too!
