Early wake-up at 5.15 for a pick-up at 5.45 at Rahayeb Desert Camp (great camp). Surprisingly, the pick-up is done with a van, which means that the tires had to be partly deflated to ensure the van can leave the camp (the return was done with a 4-wheel drive car) Except this strange start, everything was perfectly managed: a smooth... This was one of the highlights of our Jordan trip. Captain Khaled took us ballooning in Wadi Rum. He runs a very professional outfit. Needless to say Wadi Rum has some spectacular scenery and seeing it from above in a slow floating balloon is the ultimate experience. I will do this again if I ever have the opportunity.

I actually won a free microlight flight in Wadi Rum, so took another friend with me who paid for his own flight. Prices were very reasonable. Really incredible way to see Wadi Rum - none of the discomfort of camel rides and actually very tranquil. Take off and landing weren't at all scary. What made it even better was that... More

Yesterday we started very early in the morning from Aqaba to watch the sunrise over Wadi Rum from a small hot air balloon. The view was fantastic. We can warmly recommend this trip organized by Royal Aerosports Club of Jordan. The crew, especially Khaled Shishani who is the balloon driver was very friendly and polite. All our questions were answered... More

My husband and I both went up in microlight planes and flew for nearly 2 hours over the Wadi Rum area. It was just simply magnificent. I just do not have enough words to describe just how wonderful the experience was. I have a fear of heights so was very unsure but it felt like the plane was standing still... More
