The group I was traveling with visited Victoria Falls in May. At this time of the year there is a tremendous amount of water coming over the falls. It was magnificent and I cannot imagine being anywhere close to Livingstone and missing this wonder! If you visit at a time when the water is at its strongest, be sure to... More

What an amazing sight. The noise from the Falls is incredible and the spray from the water soaks you, even with waterproof ponchos on,but this is a beautiful place and we were glad we booked the trip.

We visited Victoria Falls both in Zambia and Zimbabwe which gave a variety of magnificent scenes. Besides the waterfalls, we also had some other activities around, i.e. microlight, quad-biking, helicopter tour, gorge swing. I would recommend this destination to everyone. My advice is to use a travel agent guide, do not go by yourself to avoid some inconviniences,

We visited the falls on our trip through Zambia. May, after rain season is not a good time to visit the falls since the Zambezi River is flowing at its strongest and the spray at the falls is extreme. The bridge crossing the river right in front of the falls offers a magnificent view of the falls when the river... More

The falls are incrediable as they cascade over and the mist returns skyward - larger than I imagined and looked wonderful as we were there in June. Wear a raincoat or rent one as you walk to the falls. 10 minute walk from Royal Livingston Hotel and yoy will probably see giraffe, monkys and zebras. I would not advise one... More

It doesn't matter wether you like natural wonders or not, its just simply a place you have to visit! It has been an experience that had a huge impact on my perception of nature. Its just wonderful and amazing. Totally recommend taking the Helicopter Tour so that you get to see the Falls from the air. One thing is watch... More

Victoria Falls in Livingstone Zambia is a natural wonder of the world. It is a UN Heritage Site. Your journey to Central Africa is not complete if you have not visited the Musi-Oa-Tunya, the original name for the Victoria Falls, which simply means "the Smoke that Thunders". The water is always thundering as it fall over a cliff that is... More

We have seen Niagara Falls, Iguassu Falls and now the Victoria Falls. All the Falls are mighty and beautiful. Each waterfall has its own beauty. We visited Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe on 11th-14th June 2014. We stayed in The Victoria Falls Hotel. We made two different day trips to the Victoria Falls by walking through the path from the hotel.... More

You might have seen documentaries, photos, and vacation movies about The Smoke that Thunders - Victoria Falls - but until you see it in person you simply cannot imagine the power. Flying into Livingston, Zambia the end of March I first spotted the Falls. The plumes of mist rise at unbelievable heights. Once you're in Livingston, 12 miles away from... More

we travelled 8 hours from Chilanga to Livingstone, our hotel had live zebras in the grounds and a decking area down by the river where you could see the Falls in the distance and watch the sun go down with a "sundowner" in your hand. The Falls were absolutely amazing, I was too scared to take the helicopter ride but... More
