Keep your camer dry and make sure you have rain gear. Could only see paart of the falls due to the heavy mist and wind but what we saw was awesome. Its slippery so good foot gear is a must. For a complete view of the falls take the Flight of the Angels helo ride also.

This truly is a magnificent sight, so much water cascading into the small gorge & producing so much spray & noise, it takes ones breath away. Tip: If you are going to get close up & personal be sure to have wet weather gear & a splash proof camera housing.

We were staying at the Victoria Falls hotel on the Zimbabwean side. I crossed the bridge on top of the falls in order to see them from both sides. They are really spectacular, and more interesting than Niagara Falls. You can get the visa to enter Zambia directly at the gate on the bridge. It is not expensive.

in March the falls are in half flow so you get to see the rock formation as well as all that water and rainbows. Great experience seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world up close, you do get wet :)

What an amazing wonder.Have never seen anything like it before and only imagined it from postcards, media and from reading. It is like standing on Heavan's breezy, misty, water drenched doorstep. THe resort I stayed at was outstanding, a walk to the falls and the Falls themselves are a once in a lifetime experience.YES!

Most of our time was spent viewing Victoria Falls from the Zambia side of the Zambezi River but we enjoyed the Zimbabwe side as well. You have to walk the bridge over the Zambezi if you want to go into Zimbabwe. That means you have to pay to cross into Zimbabwe at the border crossing on the other side of... More

A 10 minute walk from the Victoria Falls Hotel along a footpath brings you to the entrance to the Victoria Falls themselves. If you take this route from the hotel you will be escorted by one of the security guards and the local entrepreneurs do not bother you. Before you enter the falls there is a small African Market and... More

Absolutely beautiful. Not much to say other than that! Make sure you go with plenty of time to look around. If you go at a time of year where the lunar rainbow is visible make sure you catch it-so wonderful and walking around the falls at night is just... THERE ARE NO WORDS! PS. Be prepared to get absolutely soaked... More

We visited in April which is high water season. You can see the falls up close on the Zambian side. There is a walkway and bridge to many viewing areas including the Victoria Falls Bridge. Wear shoes that can get wet and bring a raincoat or poncho because the heavy mist falls as rain even on a bright sunny day.... More
