Description: Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam...
Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam amid 150 hectares of dunescape similar to what the world’s first golf courses were carved from. Its chief feature is a 7,160-yard, 18-hole, links-style layout that was designed in the true spirit of the game — blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, swales and hollows — by Australian golf legend and former world No. 1 Greg Norman. It lies in close proximity to two of Vietnam’s most historic destinations — UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An and Hue — and offers breathtaking views of the Marble Mountains, East Sea and Cham Islands.

As we played both courses, Danang Golf Club and Montgomerie Links Danang, I thought it would be the best to write a comparing review, as both courses are not bad, but have its characteristics. Both courses are located right next to each other. Overall, my rating is: 3 Points (Average) for Danang Golf Club (thereafter referred to as D) and... More

Another great Norman course. Liek most Greg Norman designs, lots of wow factor and definitely worth a game. Like most too, not for the high handicapper but not too tough either. Service is great from the moment you walk in the door, caddies are lovely although English a little limited. Definitely worth a game if in Danang!

Played the Da Nang golf club with 9 other Aussie golfers. All enjoyed the course with excellent variation of short long Par 4's , Long 5's & their 16th signature hole. The Greens where the best in the area, great cover & speed. The caddies were excellent & knew the course well. The general conditioning of the course as a... More

A lovely course with good variety of long & short holes, nice routing, good variation of tee positions. Certainly a tough enough challenge without being overly penal. As with other the G Norman design courses I've seen, rewards strategic play rather than just length off the tee. Caddies excellent, not brilliant in their knowledge of the game but delightful personalities... More

Course is in very good condition, caddies are professional & nice. Not that many players on the day but they really took their time and the round took us 5 hours to finish!

This is a good design challenging course with a couple of holes at seafront. The caddies are well trained. The meals served at The Birdie is excellent, for club standard.

We recently played this course as a 4 initially but the other Swiss couple pulled out after 7 holes owing to rain We battled on with our match play very ably supported by caddies Eyan and Thuns. Theses girls created a real fun environment on a championship course which we thoroughly enjoyed. Well worth the visit and reasonable value for... More

My wife and I played this Greg Norman course twice last weekend and marginally preferred it over the adjacent Montgomerie course. American Joe Millar who is the GM gave us the most important tip before we started - "try out the practice green do some putts". The greens were over 12 on the stimp meter and, for us who currently... More
