Description: Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam...
Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam amid 150 hectares of dunescape similar to what the world’s first golf courses were carved from. Its chief feature is a 7,160-yard, 18-hole, links-style layout that was designed in the true spirit of the game — blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, swales and hollows — by Australian golf legend and former world No. 1 Greg Norman. It lies in close proximity to two of Vietnam’s most historic destinations — UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An and Hue — and offers breathtaking views of the Marble Mountains, East Sea and Cham Islands.

Played here with a group of 7...did it just for the experience, course nice without being sensational...caddies knowledgeable but incredibly "flirty"...not appropriate in my book and if my wife had of been there, they would have copped a handbag in the head... Played in a group of three and four and noticed caddies holding hands with players...calling me "honey"...touchy feely...giggling... More

I really enjoyed this track, it's pretty tough and has plenty of sand to negotiate. Course was in great condition and the caddies were were very pleasant and read the greens much better than I did. The place also has excellent practice areas if want to work on things. Clubhouse is pleasant, with nice food and drinks and prompt service.... More

Excellent course in excellent condition. Very pretty girl caddies who speak reasonable English and are of good standard. Lovely clubhouse with all facilities. Proshop expensive like all Proshops. Caddy tip around 200,000 Dong.

I was really looking forward to playing danang but found it very average. I thought it would be up there with red mountain in Phuket, dalat in southern Vietnam and ria bintan in bintan but not even close to any of them. The par 3 16th is a lovely hole but other than that and one or two nice par... More

This is a great course but the nickel and diming really affected the overall experience for me. Fees are 2million VND or so, then you HAVE to pay for a caddy and a cart (another 1million). Add on club rental, and then you have to buy balls, a glove and tees from their pro shop. A package deal might be... More

A great Course by Greg Norman. Not easy to play, some wholes are really long and small for average players. Driver a must! if you are playing HCP below 20 and starting from blue! The 16th is a panoramic pic view. Only 120yards, but against the wind and secured with two bunkers. All in in all a really fine course.

Having played golf around the region and sporting a n 11 handicap, I arranged a day of golf at Danang Golf Club with a rented set of clubs. Clubhouse, Proshop and restaurants are luxurious, like many courses in Asia. The price would reflect this. New buggies (ice bucket included), a polite and knowledgeable female caddy with a premium brand set... More

this is our first round of golf in da nang and they did not disappoint. A mix of mountain and seaside layout designed by Greg Norman.

I played 2 rounds of gold at Danang Golf club. The club offers great facilities and very well organised. The course is another great design from Greg Norman and I was pleasantly surprised with the greens. The greens rolled well apposed to what one normally can expect from your typical Asian Resoort Courses. It is a great lay-out and a... More

We were eight senior golfers playing our first game in Danang. It was a short 15 mins journey from our hotel in Hoi An, along the main road leading to Danang city. As expected, Greg Norman design would have bunkers aplenty. In this case lots of waste bunkers with long grass and scrubs that will catch your wayward shots. Playing... More
