Owner description: Cham islands are 15km from Cua Dai. There are seven islands altogether named according to their shape or characteristics. They are called Lao ( pear ), Dai ( long ), La ( leaf), Kho ( dry ),Tai ( ear ),Mo ( tomb ) and Nom ( East Wind ). They have good climate, cool the year round, trees and animals as well as marine life are plentiful here. On the island, there are precious bird nests while under the water, the coral is marvelous. There are also scenic spots around the island, such as Suoi Tinh ( Love stream), Suoi Ong ( Sir’s stream ), Hon Chong ( Piled up rocks ),Hang Ba ( The lady’s cave ). the island is also surrounded by very nice beaches with clean white sand and transparent, cool water.

Cham island in Quang Nam is a beautiful island. with many wild features and clean. Sightseeing White Stone Beach, Shark Cape. Visit the memorial of the greatest escapes in the history of Con Dao. Great little motorboat cruise on the sapphire blue waters out to Cham island. Guide was great, good english. Walking the small island and visiting an ancient Pagoda and exploring the village was enchanting. Beautiful beach but this place have no electricity at all. If you have childrent remember to bring suncream and umbrella.

Went on a speed boat trip for the day. Visited the markets first then the little museum and the pagoda. Lovely quaint village, very friendly and helpful. Then snorkelling, but not given enough time. really enjoyed the tour to the island for approx $25 aus. Speed boat to the island, snorkelling(not that great), temple, fishing village, they even feed you lunch.

The island itself is clean and beautiful but the tour was disappointing. The best way to enjoy this island is to take local ferry (tàu chợ) departing around 7 a.m, then stay 1 night with the local (homestay) and drive bike around the island.

We were lucky that our tour guide recognised that we were more interested in being active... we spent a couple of lovely hours with a local fisherman on his boat - and managed to communicate despite the lack of shared language. Many domestic people, not good food, nice snorkeling. Many colorful fishes and corals. Not far from Hoi An.
