Cham islands are 15km from Cua Dai. There are seven islands altogether named according to their shape or characteristics. They are called Lao ( pear ), Dai ( long ), La ( leaf), Kho ( dry ),Tai ( ear ),Mo ( tomb ) and Nom ( East Wind ). They have good climate, cool the year round, trees and animals as well as marine life are plentiful here. On the island, there are precious bird nests while under the water, the coral is marvelous. There are also scenic spots around the island, such as Suoi Tinh ( Love stream), Suoi Ong ( Sir’s stream ), Hon Chong ( Piled up rocks ),Hang Ba ( The lady’s cave ). the island is also surrounded by very nice beaches with clean white sand and transparent, cool water.

The snorkelling around the island was not very good. The boat is not recommended for older people as access on and off the boat is extremely hard. I smashed my knee on the concrete as I had to step into a tyre and them jump on the boat ramp.

As many people have said, Cham island gets very crowded during the day. These people start to leave about 2pm and the beach is clear by 3. If you're keen for a day trip without the crowding, Cham island dive centre knows the ins and outs, you will get a couple of hours snorkeling in top spots off a large... More

Went out there with a speedboat, the boat was filled up with too much people. The trip was warm, crowded and there was a lot of waiting.the snorkling lasted for like 30 minutes, not much to see, just to many people in the sea at the same time. The lunch was nothing more than ok, we didn't eat much of... More

We visited today which is typically lower season but on the wharf, boats and island itself it was bedlam. Many, many tours operating simultaniously with portable microphones so you couldn't hear a thing. The sand was nice but I wouldn't waste the time and money again. You would be much better off at An Ban Beach for the day

Mini bus pick up from your hotel, down to the boat and then a quick trip over to the islands. A tour of the island a lunch and then a bit of sunbathing and snorkelling and return. Maybe it was just the time of year but the visibility for snorkelling was poor. The highlights of the island took about ten... More

Coral is few, not nice at all. The beach is nice with clean sand & clear water but there are many motor boat which... More

This was 1 of 3 tours I booked, and the others were Ba Na Hill and Hoi An/Ngu Hanh Son. The tour was 500.000 VND. I was picked up by a van with many other tourist. The drive was about 30 minutes to the dock, we met our knowledgable tour guide. Got on the boat, jetted through the water to... More

Cham Island is worth a visit and is a good get away. However, the snorkelling around the choral reefs are not as colourful or vibrant as many in South East Asia.
