We booked the free bike tour to Kim Bong Island. We had a great day together with our lovely guides and enjoyed the time with them a lot. We learned much more than on regular tours and were even able to get to know our guides more. And of course we saw a lot of handcraft places that we would... More

We really enjoyed our tour by these university students who were very keen to show us authentic Hoi An and its people and industry.Yes the students had a chance to practice their English but they also provided for a very authentic interaction with the small group (four tourists and three guides). We would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting... More

I contacted the company to see if a custom tour can be made. Some tours are free and some are paid. We combined the lantern making tour with the street food tour for 42$ per person. It was wonderful. The lantern experience was really fun and interesting. We spent an afternoon with a family of lantern artisans sitting in their... More

Xuan and his team of lovely, funny, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable 'trainees' took us on a bicycle ride that showed me more about Vietnam than the two weeks prior to that tour had. I got to see a side of Vietnam that I am sure no other trip would have shown me. I enjoyed every minute of it, starting with... More

This is one of those things that makes travel such a pleasure. Seeing the countryside and facets of culture through the eyes of a group of enthusiastic volunteers. For $2.50 you get knowledgeable guides who are proud of their culture and love interacting with visitors. The tour includes a ferry ride with locals, cycling through a bucolic setting and visiting... We did a tour of the carpentry village with Man and we had a fantastic day. What made it more special was getting to know Man. He had a wonderful knowledge of the area was very positive and caring and he will make a wonderful tour guide.

Had such a great time on this trip. Had five stops along the way at local shops learning how they weave, make rice paper, carve wood and make boats. Guides were so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

As a solo traveller, I must say this is the best tour I ever joined in Vietnam, Hoi An. There were 3 university student volunteers (Lien, Tuyen & Ny) who brought the group around to see explore the unwritten culture of another village. They were very approachable, friendly and funny people to hang out with! Paid 50K VND for the... More

We were guided by Xuang (Spring) the lead guide and two trainee guides. They were awesome. Friendly, helpful. Xuang gave very good and clear commentary on our activities. Our group had the chance to make rice paper and weave a floor mat in the homes of local villages. Cottage industry work. This activity gave me a cursory but much appreciated... More
