Wonderful experience. There were 7 of us-picked up at our hotel-first stop the market in Hoi An to learn about the different foods common in Vietnamese cooking. Our guide bought several things then back in the taxi to drive out to the country. Walked down a lane to our guides house (her brother came up with the idea of Coconut... More

We went as a family of four (3 adults + 1 kid) on a food discovery trip with courteous and knowledgable Phouc around the back streets of Hoi An. The amount of street food and the quality of it is simply mind boggling. A must do for foodies. I thought our gluttony does not have boundaries but we barely could... More

Myself and my boyfriend mainly came to Vietnam to eat. So we wanted to make sure we ate the best food at the right places. Phuoc was definitely the right man for the job. What we learnt on our tour definitely shaped what and where we ate for the remainder of our stay in Vietnam. For this reason I would... More

We spent a wonderful evening at Bont's brother house, my sons of 13 and 8 years old enjoyed cutting and rolling spring rolls, I take so many pictures with their aprils, being at a house seeing how they do great dishes is unique. We are grateful how Bont treat us at her brother's home and I am going to do... More

The street food tour we took last night with the funny and informative Phuoc was soo worth it. We spent 3 hours winding thru the backstreets and alleys tasting some of the most delicious food I have ever had. We were the only tourists eating at the street side tables with the local men women and children. It was an... More

We were in Hoi An with smarTours and we opted to take 'Coconut Tours' 'Vietnamese Cooking Tour'. We were met by Huynh Huu Phuoc, our gregarious host, who first lead us through the nearby Central Market, identifying some of the local produce unfamiliar with these North American tourists. Next we joined him in his rural neighborhood where he pointed out... More

I took the street food tour with Phuoc, and can't say enough good things about it. It is not a tour of the food stalls that tourist would go to, that serve touristic versions of dishes, modified for western tastes. Phuoc took me to the local stalls, where the local Vietnamese would go. We tasted over 20 dishes, or at... More

My partner and I went on Phuoc's cooking tour in February 2015. The tour is a wonderful balance of busy Hoi An and the peaceful riverside. The tour started with a trip to the local food markets followed by a short bicycle ride to Phuoc's village. Here his brother and sister gave us a tour of the villages' farm where... More
