The idea behind our tour is simple:in Hoi An there are around 350 restaurants catering to visitors with another 500 or so vendors and eating establishments catering to locals with foods that don’t usually appear on visitor menus. This is the food of the local Hoi An people - some call it street food - many with recipes passed down from generation to generation. Our tour gives visitors a safe opportunity to try these foods – we ensure the food is handled hygienically and provide a comfortable venue for the tastings. « less

What a wonderful experience doing the street food tour, we would not have found some of the places on our own. We tasted so many different foods that I would not have tried on my own, delicious. Our tour guide Neville Dean is a showman with the "gift of the gab" I would highly recommend this tour if visiting Hoi... More

Neville and his wife Colleen have put together something that captures the very essence of the Vietnamese cuisine. Tasting over 40 dishes makes you realise how much Hoi An & Vietnam have to offer when it comes to food. Foodie or no foodie, this is a must go. Both Neville and Colleen are amazing people who have put this food... More

My husband & I did this tour on our first full day in Hoi An. We both love our food and this is a great way to orientate yourself within the town and to get some good tips for restaurants for the rest of our stay. The tour started early with a 7.20am pick up from our hotel and a... More

Did the tour based on TA and was not disappointed. Nevilles passion and insight was amazing and opened our eyes to many local dishes and snacks. One of the best items was the Banh mi from Madam Knanh along with the iced coffee we had at the final tasting house. Do yourself a favour and do this

This was one of the highlights of my trip in Vietnam! Neville's tour, from start to finish, was engaging, interesting and such fun! It's a great opportunity to step away from the tourist trail and see another side of Hoi An, whilst also learning about the Vietnamese way of life. You'll also get to try so many different foods (do... More

What a fun, belly filling, knowledge gaining 5 hour tour. Do what Neville says and you will be fine, eat breakfast before you go on the tour and you will be sorry! If you don't do this tour you will be left wondering what all these foods are on the side of the streets, what you can eat and what... More

This was one of our favourite things in Vietnam. Neville is an entertaining and gregarious guide who has clearly integrated himself into the local Hoi An culture. He has founded the tour around the principal of supporting local vendors. He also seems to have the tour set up in such a way that if he ever stops doing it, the... More

Neville is a character, just a wonderful guy. His staff is great too. If you're at all interested in Vietnamese food (with emphasis on Hoi An specialties), stop reading reviews and book this tour! You won't have another food tour experience like this. Also, give everything a try at least once. Even the things that look or sound a little... More
